Chapter 1.

"well. this is it. I love you so much, I will be back in 3 weeks" I said trying to hold back the years that were building up.
"I'll miss you so much honey. call me at least once a day so I can hear your voice. please be safe, I don't want anything to happen to you" my m said as she wrapped me in the biggest and longest hug ever. we were currently at the airport in Iowa, my flight is in 2 hours and I still have to check in and go through security. my mom released me from the hug before tees started to spill from her eyes.
"Mom don't cry! your going to make me cry!" I said as I hugged her again.
"I'm sorry, I'm just an emotional wreck. I have to let you leave though, so call me when you land in Baltimore okay?" my mom said
"yes mom, I will make sure I call you. I have to meet Colby he is already inside waiting for me, so ill see you in 3 weeks, I love you so much ease stay strong for me!" I said as I hugged my mum before walking into the airport. I blew one last kiss to her and waves goodbye as she smiled and waves back before pulling away. I hate leaving my mom, especially with her condition. my mom has been battling brain cancer for the third time now, it just wouldn't go away! every time I leave for a trip or for my job I always have major concerns. what if something happens to her and I can't get home? what if she is at the hospital? what if she doesn't make it and I wasn't there to say goodbye to her? these questions keep running through my mind as tears start to spill.
"Lyla!" I hear someone say. I turn to see my bestfriend since high school, Colby.
"hi colbs! you ready for the tour?" I said as I started wiping the tees off of my face.
"yes, this is gonna be awesome"
"why don't we go check in and then we can talk more, alright?" I said as I grabbed my bags and walked over to the lady who takes your bags.

~30 Minutes Later~
We made our way through security and check in and we were now sitting down eating breakfast before our flight gets called.
"so how is your mom doing?" Colby asked me.
"she's doing good as of now, I hope it stays that way. I don't know what I would do if I lost her" I said
"well you know you can tell me anything, don't be afraid to" Colby said.
"I know I can tell you anything, I just- don't know what I would do if my mom wasn't around. she means everything to me."
"well if anything happens I'm sure you will be the first one to know. but nothing WILL happen, she will be there when you get back home to hug you and see you."
"thanks. Can we change the subject? please? I just don't want to start crying here, it isn't the time or place"
"Yeah"
~4 Hours Later~
We finally arrived in Baltimore. it was cold outside so thank god I had on suitable clothes for this weather. fans found us and were jut watching us. they were pretty quiet. that is what I like about the wwe universe, if they see you in public they wouldn't hound you. I decided to go over and meet a couple fans. I signed a few autographs and took pictures. Colby did the same thing. after we visited the fans we had to continue on our way to the hotel and then the arena.

We arrived at the hotel not long after. we checked in, and went to our rooms. since we were such close friends, we usually share hotel rooms just because since we travel together, just share a room together. it's easier like that.
When we got to the room I ran to the biggest bed and jumped on it.
"Finally! now I can sleep!" I said with a big smile on my face.
"We have to go to the arena in like 3 hours" Colby said.
"I can still squeeze in some sleep!" I said as I laid there on the bed." As I said that I flipped the other way and fell into a deep sleep.

"lyla! Lyla wake up!" Colby said as he shook me awake.
"What?" I said as I sat up in bed.
"get dressed, we have to get to the arena in an hour!" he said.
I got up out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I change out of my airport clothes and changed I I a pair of jean shorts, an 'uso crazy' tee and a pair of my black chuck taylors. I removed all my makeup and splashed my face with some cold water and washed it. I brushed my hair and left it down, it's easier for the hair and makeup crew. I exited the bathroom and put all my dirty clothes into a seperate plastic bag, tied it, and stuck it in my suitcase. I grabbed my duffel bag and made sure I had everything in it before closing it. I did the same with my purse and closed that also. Colby was just finishing up getting dressed and putting his stuff together.
"You ready to go?" I asked as Colby nodded while zipping up hi bag and following me out the door. Monday Night Raw here we come.
