Chapter 16.

Wrestlemania-Backstage

Seth and I just walked through the curtain. We were congratulated on both our engagement and baby news.

Everyone we walked by was smiling at us, it was kind of weird. Everywhere we went we were congratulated. I couldn't help but be happy. I was on cloud 9. I'm pregnant and having a baby with a man I love, and on top of that I'm getting married to that same person.

I never would have expected to be having a baby getting married to Seth. He was my best friend since as long as I could remember. I always thought that that's all we would just be, is friends. I'm happy that we decided on more than that. He is the man of my dreams and I couldn't be more happier for either of us.

"Hey girly! Congrats on the engagement!" I turned around to see Nikki Bella.

"Thanks so much! How's it going?"

"It's going. You are so blessed to be having everything. Marriage, kids. I wish John was so open to the idea" I could see that she was starting to become sad at the thought of not becoming a wife and mother.

"Nicole, I'm sorry. Maybe John will come around. I feel so selfish right now. I'm openly talking about my engagement and pregnancy and not thinking of yours or anyone else's feelings"

"No, don't be" she said sniffling and wiping her tears
"You shouldn't have to not talk about such amazing news because your worried about mine or someone's feelings. That wouldn't be fair to you. I'll just have to suck it up. I'm happy for you and Seth, I really am. I love you both and I know you guys will make great parents"

I wiped the tears that we're starting to form and hug Nikki.

"I'm gonna miss you and Brie and all the other divas"

"You can visit whenever you want, but you already know that"

"I'll try to as much as I could before the baby. And all of you can come visit me, or me and Seth at our house in Davenport. We just moved into a new place so I've been buying furniture and getting the guest room set. Everything should be ready in a few weeks, I'll let you know. I'd love for you and Brie to come over with Bryan and John. I'm sure Seth would love to hang out with the guys."

"I definitely do, but I have to head out for my match in a little bit, so I'll see you soon" Nikki says as she wraps me in a tight hug.

I'm gonna miss this. I'm gonna miss everyone.

~After Wrestlemania~

Seth just cashed in and won the championship. He was standing at the top of the ramp, holding the championship up high.

I was already at the gorilla watching on the monitor. I walked out onto the ramp to go congratulate him. I hugged him tightly and kissed him.

After I pulled away, he lifted up the belt in one hand, and my hand in another. Nothing could stop the smiles on our faces. Not only was Seth the champion, so was I.

I wasn't the divas champion, but I was a champion in my own way.

I had my soon to be husband and my unborn baby by my side, and that's all I need.

It's been so long since I updated. But at the end of the last chapter I explained why. Everything is better now and I got my first job! So I'll be working soon. I'm saving up to buy a new phone.
