"Hello, you must be Alice Shadowsly" I hear a voice coming from behind me. A short ginger haired boy is standing behind me. He looks about my age, he's fairly goodlooking actually. "Yes, yes I am... I'm sorry, but who are you?" I say politely, trying to hide my Northern accent. "Oh, I am sorry! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Ed Sheeran, well Edward but please, call me Ed. I live just across the road from you." He turns around to point at his house, it's very similar to mine only with an orange garage and a White door. Ed smiles lightly, "Well it's lovely to meet you, Edward... I- i mean Ed." he chuckles "Aha, It's fine. You're in my year at school, well, in my class actually." I grin inside, at least I will know someone "That's great!" he looks please at my reaction. "We could walk to school together. If you like?" "Yeah, sure" I say "Meet me here, tomorrow morning at 8:00, okay?" I nod in agreement. Ed gives me a thumbs up and turns to leave. He gets to the door, gives me a quick wave and then enters his house.
I stroll into my new home and am greeted by my grinning parents "Made a new friend already, Alice?" my mum says. I simply nod. "He seems sweet on you does that kid, I reckon you'll become more than 'just friends' if you get what I mean!?" He cracks up on him own joke. "Haha, yeah." I say sarcastically. "Now, where's my room?" My parents tie a scarf around my head making me temporarily blind. I get lead up two flights of stairs and through an extra door. They take my blindfold off and I open my eyes to see the most beautiful room all done out with White furniture and Pink floral wallpaper and a pure white carpet "Wow" I say in astonishment. I pull back the curtains revealing a big, grand balcony. Life here is going to be perfect.
