6:45am My alarm goes off offensively loud reminding me that I will actually have to get up and out of bed. I get my dressing gown on and open my curtains, I am blinded by the sunlight streaming through my balcony doors. I open them up and step outside. I look across to the house oppisite to find that they are already up and open. Their curtains are open so I am startled by a bright orange wall matching the garage paint. I hear my mother calling me from down stairs. "Alice! Alice! Come on, I don't want you having a late start on your first day of school!" So I close the doors and mope downstairs.
I discover that my dad has already gone to work and my sister is sat at the table drinking coffee. I find cereal already laid out on the table for me. They must be feeling generous today, hmm. "Charlotte dear, would you mind passing this milk over to your sister." she rolls her eyes "Fine." I recieve the milk at comsume my cereal. I dig my new uniform out of my wardrobe and put it on. A bottle green blazer, A green and black tie, An above knee black skirt and a crisp white shirt. I don't look the bad actually. I let my Auburn hair down from its plaits so it curls down my back. The green compliments it nicely. For once I am actually satisfied with my School Uniform.
I say goodbye to my mum and sister who is getting the 8:15 bus to school and exit the house. I skip down the stepping stones leading down my garden and find Ed leaning, rather sexily against a lamp-post. "Hey Alice." he calls over. Oooh, he's done his hair differently with some hair gel and used a rather distinctive, yet attracive aftershave. "Hi Ed!" I reply, rather to excitably...
"Looking good" He says slyly. Looking at my emerald green eyes. "Thanks" I say, accepting his compliment. "You look rather great yourself" I say, because he does look rather great. If I'm honest.
After waffling on about nothingness all the way to school I have decided that Ed is personality as well as looks. He's funny, easy to talk to and has a good sense of humour. "Hey Ed, want to introduce me to your new friend?" A rather tall blonde boy calls from across the play ground whilst a few of the people around him 'wolf whistle'. "Yeah, okay then Liam." He walks over to them and pulls me with him grabbing my hand. "This is Alice Shadowsly, she's moved in across the road from me." The boy smiles "Y'all right Alice? I'm Liam, Ed's friend." "Hello, Liam. Nice to meet you" "You gonna make any other friends, if not you're always welcome with us." "I don't know anyone else, so I may as well make aquaintence with you at the least" He laughs. Ed drops my hand but steps closer to me "So you know Liam. This is Dave" He points to a brunette boy with freckles "And Jacob" He points to a slightly emo looking boy who's short with dark hair. He doesn't look like he talks much, but at least we know eachothers names...
We make our way to registration, a class of 24. Ed and I take our seats at the back of the classroom to help me avoid the stares that new kids normally get. "Hey, how come Sheeran gets to befriend the fit girl!?" "Yeah, that's not fair!" all the boys start shouting, I just swing back on my chair talking to Ed, ignoring the other boys. A tall, stern looking teacher walk in. Everyone goes silent. I put my chair back onto 'four legs' I do not want to be in trouble on my first day. He points at me, "Ah, you must me Allysia" "Yes, sir. But please, just call me Alice." "Okay then, just Alice. I see you've already made friends with Sheeran. Well that saves me the trouble of aquiring you a buddy. Ed, just look after her." Ed just nods and smiles. The register is take "Primrose, Mark, Hayden, Ester, Harley, Jenna, Nina, Lewis, Liam, Dave, Ed, Thalia, Betsy, Alice, Ada, Leonard, Mycheala, Flossie, Bronte, Olly, Arthur, Annalyse, Athena and Hermes!" So this was my class, I had two sets of twins, Athena and Hermes, Ada and Leonard. Three populars, Betsy, Annalyse and Jenna and one incredibly beautiful ginger, yes, you already know who that is....
