Sweet 16

On your 16th birthday,you receive a gift revealing a secret world dealing with who you are meant to be.

Today was your sweet 16. After the party, your best friend,Claire,hands you a wooden box. You open it to find a book with a black cover with gold designs on the front and binding. There was a key lock in the middle but you couldn't find a key.

Claire points to your necklace. You use the key charm that you've had for 7 years which was given to you be Claire herself. The book opens and the pages are filled with black script you can't understand.

You flip to the back of the book to find a note written on the back page.

"Incantatem"

You look at the strange word. You pronounce it and everything translates to English. You look up at Claire who just smiles and nods. You understand. You just used magic. You're a witch.
