Pain and heartbreak

Alec's P.O.V
It's been about a month since Mother stabbed Aly and it was almost entirely her fault, she managed to piss off a very powerful warlock who in return made her stab the most precious thing in her life which was Aly. Magnus hasn't let her anywhere near Aly
" hey Magnus how's my baby sister" I ask the warlock who in turn looked at me wth tired eyes
" same as yesterday" he states tiredly
" Magnus you need to go home and changed oh and take a shower and get some rest you can't stay in here forever" I say placing my hand on his shoulder
" you promise to call if anything happens" he says
" I swear Aly wouldn't want you not taking care of yourself like this" he stands and stumbles past as I take his seat and watch over my little sister
" I see ou got Magnus to leave" Izzy says walking in with two coffees and handing me one
" yeah the poor guy hasn't slept in days" I say sadly
" I don't blame him to be honest, I should have been there to protect her Izzy I should have been there" I say placing the coffee down and covering my face with my hands letting the pent up tears finally fall
"Alec none of us knew what mother was going to do to Aly" She says patting my shoulder before hugging me
" I know but I promised to protect you both and I failed" I cry hugging Izzy tightly as Jace walks in with tommy
" how is she" he asks weakly
" she's shown no signs of waking up anytime soon" Izzy says for me
" poor Magnus he must be so broken on the inside" Jace says, we all loved how much Magnus made Aly smiled and now that she's in a coma he's been so down and depressed
2 months later
Izzy's P.O.V
We are on the hunt to find and kill a demon, Magnus is out drinking as he has for the last month since Aly showed no sign of waking up which we all encouraged him to do since he's now not moping
" well this was a bust" I say as we stroll into the institute where Magnus waited for us
" hey mags how you feeling" I ask linking our arms as we head down to the infirmary to see my twin who was in the same position as when we left
" I'm feeling ok I guess" he says we stop for a moment when a beeping sound fills the room, medics fill the room as Magnus dragged me out as I scream Alec and Jace ce racing down the hall to find the medics trying to revive Aly
" no no she can't die please" I scream as Magnus freely let tears streak his face Alec and Jace also let tears fall, the beeping stopped after minutes of torture the medics come out as one pulls a cover over my twins body
" I'm so sorry for your lose miss Lightwood we did everything we could to save her" she says quietly before leaving
" no.." I whisper clinging to Magnus for comfort
" Mags I'm so sorry" I say pulling the broken warlock into a hug his arms wrap around my waist as his tears socked my shirt my brother collapsed into a chair and uncle Tommy was comforting him, Clary held a crying Jace in her arms. My parents also were crying hard mother worst because it was her fault that this happened
" this is your fault" I growl at my mother who looked at me wide eyed
" Izzy" I cut her off
" MY TWIN ALECS SISTER MAGNUS' LOVER IS GONE BECAUSE YOU PISSED OFF THE WRONG WARLOCK" I scream tears falling harder as I stare down the woman who was supposed to be my mother
" Izzy I'm so sorry" she cries before leaving
" she's gone" I say collapsing if Magnus has nt caught me I sure would have hurt myself
" Magnus she's gone she can't be gone she can't be" I cry as he rocked me
" I know it hurts I know" he says trying to be strong for us all trying to be the one to help us
" Magnus it's ok to cry" Tommy says patting thre warlocks shoulder which break him and the tears fell hard and fast
" she can't be gone" I mutter tireing myself out to unconsciousness
Magnus' P.O.V
After tommy took the Lightwood siblings to there rooms and clary lead Jace to his Tommy came back to see me
" hey" he places a hand around my shoulders as my face was buried in my hands trying to stop the crying
" Brother Enoch will be here in a few days to hold the ceremony I want you there with Izzy and Alec" he says I look at him he sighs
" of course I'll be there no matter what" my voice cracks as fresh tears fell
" go home and get some rest I'll be over yours to see how your feeling" I got up to make a portal
" oh and Magnus Izzy says to keep Aly's stuff at yours Aly would want you to keep them" I nod and step through the portal, I see caterina standing in my lounge
" Magnus I've been...are you ok" she asks apon seeing my tear streaked face
" she's gone" I mumble falling on my leather couch
"Oh Magnus I'm so sorry" she sits and pulls me into a hug and I cry till my eyes were sore
" go lay down and change I'll bring in some food for you" she pushes me into my room and I crash into my bed after changing and caterina stays with me untill the day of Aly's funeral
Fureral day
I arrive at the institute in a white suit with my hair a mess, Izzy sees me and pushes me into her room and into a chair
" how have you been Mags" she asks as she fixes my hair I don't say anything just try not to let the tears fall
" come on let's go the ceremony is about to begin" she links our arms and leads us into the ceremony room
" this is were we first kissed" I whisper quietly remembering how I crashed her wedding to get the girl
" yeah it is" she leads me past all people to stand beside her and Alec
" I should sit down" I try to Alec stops me
" no your staying up here with us" he says quietly as if the smallest word would break me

( just imagine it's for Aly instead and it's Alec Magnus and Izzy you say her name)
After the beautiful ceremony and they did the Shadowhunter good bye I made my way away from the room only to be stopped by Maryse
" Magnus I know you probably hate me but I want you to have something" she hands me a box it held the same tiara I gave to Aly for her wedding
"Thanks but I need to go now" I say making my way out of the Institute
