Aly's P.O.V I yawn and turn on my side to face Magnus who looked so peaceful when sleeping. His hair flopped to the side and his face was relaxed and calm now worry lines creased his face, is lips parted slightly as soft small snores escaped from them. I sigh and smile lightly before slipping out of the bed and head the the kitchen to make breakfast of pancakes with cream and raspberries and bacon with orange juice, I feel hands wrap around my waist and kiss press to my shoulder " morning mags" I say I feel him smile against my skin " morning my dear" Magnus says " I have to go back to the institute for a debriefing" I say handing him a plate and cup then we sit at the table " do you want me to come with you" he asks " no it's ok I'll be fine but if something does happen I'll call" I say smiling lightly at my warlock " ok be safe though I'd like you to come home in one piece" he says leaning forward across he table to kiss me before I get up to go change

I grab my blade, whip and stele and head out Magnus meets me at the door " see you soon my love" he smiles kissing me one last time then I leave. I decided to walk to the institute which was about 10 minutes away from Magnus' apartment. I yawn as I walk in Izzy meeting me at the door " Heyo you" I say smiling hugging my older twin, Alec stood with mother who seemed different because a death glare was on her face when I walked in, My dad and uncle tommy had smiles on thee faces " hello Aly" Tommy says hugging me tightly " Magnus didn't do anything you didn't want" Alec says staring at me " nope we hung out with Izzy then we both went to bed" I say tilting my head " enough talking we need to find valentine" Mother snaps " who put the grumpy pill in her coffee this morning" I say quietly " she wasn't like this before" Alec says then realised what he had said " Wow so I'm the reason she's a bitch how nice" I snap at him and start to walk away " Aly I didn't mean it that way" he says grabbing my hand " no Alec just let me go" I say walking into the kitchen, not long after I here heels clicking against the ground " Izzy..." I turn but it was mother " oh mother it's you" I say turning back around to pour a glass of water " you brought shame upon our family name, calling of your wedding would have been one thing but kissing that downworlder in front of the most respected clave membership" she says venom in her every word " ok what did I do to make you hate me so much" I say turning to face my mother who glared " you don't realise what you have done, every since you hit puberty you turned into a bitch, not following rules or orders and just going anywhere with out thinking about what your actions do to others" she slowly walked towards me " mother are you ok" I say backing into a wall scared I have never seen her like this before anger radiated off of her in waves she held her hand behind her back hiding something from me. I look for an escape root and as I try to escape " you ruined my life by being born" she snapped angrily " how explain to me how I had no choice in the matter of being born" I yell at her tears threatening to spill over she never acts like this has when I noticed something red on her left wrist it was a mark nothing like I have ever seen before I could say anything or even run a searing pain shot through me like wild fire I look down and mother had pushed a seraph blade right through me blood poured out when she yanked it out and then she turns and walks out. With any strength I had left I stumble from the kitchen and try to make my way through to the main room, but I don't get to far before collapsing in pain I let out a scream of pure agony and I hear feet pound against re ground " ALY ALY STAY AWAKE OK BABY STAY AWAKE" I could head Magnus yelling at me but everything was blurry and fuzzy " Magnus" I say feeling extremely weak from blood lose " why in Gods name happened" I hear Alec say "GET A MEDIC IN HERE NOW" My twin yells " Aly please stay awake for me ok I'm right here listen to my voice" Magnus says while trying to pick me up only causing me to scream out in pain, I could here my uncle tommy and my dad talking while they, Magnus and Alec together pick me up to put me on the roller bed that the healers rolled in quickly to get me to the elevator, Magnus was using is magic to hold of the bleeding I see Alec link there hands for Magnus to take energy for him to kee me alive Alec's P.O.V I give Magnus my hand to take energy while Jace kept Izzy company as she watched Aly be wheeled into the infirmary, mother comes running in " what happened" she says frantically " Someone stabbed Aly she's barely holding on" I say as we finally reach the infirmary and the medics start trying to close the wound " there's to much blood we need to do a transfusion but we don't have her blood type here" the magic says as she Tries to clean the wound " Go to Raphael he should have some" Magnus says while turning to look at Izzy " tell him I asked you to that I need it" she nods as he opens a portal and she goes through Izzy's P.O.V " RAPHAEL" I yell as I rush into the hotel dumort " what is it Shadowhunter" he says before seeing my red puffy eyes and frantic look " I need your help do you have any blood bags here" I ask trying not the break " why what's happened" he asks going to a wall with a painting " someone stabbed Aly and she needs a blood transfusion but we don't have her blood type" I say little tears slipping " here let me take you back" he scoops me up and vamps back to the institute we both come running into the infirmary and I hand over the bags and the medics rush to hook them up " Alec what's going to happen now" I ask now finally breaking as my big brother holds me as we watch Magnus and the medics fight to keep Aly alive " We kind the person who tried to kill her and take them out"he says watching something behind me I turn to find mother staring blankly at Aly " is that blood on her hand" I ask and his eyes go wide " no no she wouldn't" he cries out I realised where he was going and I ran straight for tommy " uncle mother has blood on her hand" he looks over at his sister and walks over " Maryse did you cut yourself" he asks grabbing her hand she shakes her head " I don't know what happened everything is blank from when Aly arrived I was going into the kitchen to apologise for what I said then I here screaming and yelling and see my baby girl fighting for her life" Mother says breaking into tears " Alec do you think maybe she was out under a warlock spell" I ask " it could be possible but all we can do is wait for Aly to wake" he says leading me to a chair About 1 hour and a half later Magnus exits the tears fresh in his eyes " she's stable but the medic doesn't know if...." he chokes and I pull the warlock into a hug as we both let out held in tears fall " she'll pull through Aly is a fighter she will survive" Alec says patting my back as every is either crying or pacing as we wait for he medic to give us the final results
