Okay! Today starts your training, Moonstone." ________________________________________________________________________________

Ever since the day she found Moonstone, Antarcticite had become good friends with her and Antarc was told to train Moonstone so that she would soon be able to take over night watch. The fact that Moonstone slightly glowed was an issue that was solved by covering her with a cloth that fit like a cloak.
"So! You will be taking over at night which means that you will have to do the things I was not able to accomplish during the day." Antarc said, leading Moonstone through the snow.
"Yes, ma'am!" Moonstone had a soft but sharp and confident voice that was a great sound to a loner.
Time Skipudesu!
They soon arrived at an area where there was a bunch of ice.
"Antarc-san.... why are we here?" Asked little Moonstone.
"Watch, Moonstone."
Soon, one of the tree looking things made a loud crash and booming sound as it sank beneath the water. Moonstone flinched, frightened by the noise.
"Ah!" She screamed, sinking into a kneeling position behind Antarc's right leg, clutching it.
"That was not it.... just wait a bit." Antarc said, patting Moon's head awkwardly.
A large roar soon filled the air, echoing in the distance as a piercing shriek took it's place.
Moonstone started at it, eyes wide open with fright. She grasped Antarc's leg even tighter, causing said gem to wince in the strong hold. The hold was strengthened when another shriek joined the first, accompanied by cries and wails differing in pitch and volume, making an odd orchestra of shrieks.
When it subsided and Moonstone's grip loosened, Antarcticite spoke.
"These sounds disturb our sleeping companions so, we have to destroy them." Stated Antarc calmly.
"I h-have to destroy th-th-that?!" Exclaimed Moonstone as she shakily stood up, not wanting her new friend to think she was weak.
"Yes, you do. So, first, we have to see if you can lift a sword." Antarc then handed Moonstone her sword.
Moonstone took it and lifted it in front of her face and stared at it. She marvelled at it, swinging it and banging it a few times, obviously not having much experience with it.
"It's so light and beautiful. Fluid and graceful like those clouds." She pointed up to the sky with the sword.
As she did this, Antarc stared at her in shock.
H-how? Maybe it is because she is harder...?
"U-uh... Antarc-san.... why are you staring at me?" Moonstone nervously asked, thinking she was doing something wrong.
"Eh-? Oh, it's nothing. Now, I will demonstrate how to break the ice floes. Watch closely."
Then, Antarcticite ran up the ice floe mountain. She used her heel to break the tip and make cracks as she ran down the other side. Then, she lifted her sword and pierced the last crack and, with a crash, the ice floe cracked in two and sunk.
As she did so, she was troubled with thoughts.
Moonstone, hardness 6.5 and has a kind disposition. Never trained to fight and only emerged two weeks ago. Fast learner and adapts quickly. But.... how?
"Now, your turn, Moonstone."
They returned to the school to get Moonstone her shoes and sword. She started, off with a good running start and speed. She copied Antarcticite and was roughly about the same. Until the floe sank. She was standing on one of the cliffs nearby and the edge where she was standing broke as a piece of the floe broke and fell on it.
Her arms flailed for a few moments before she realised she was falling. She closed her eyes, frightened by what she might see.
"Help!" That was the only word she got put before her head was engulfed it the water.
"Moonstone!" Antarc yelled, pulling her out of the water. Thankfully, she had been taken out before any damage was done.
"You've got to learn to be more careful!" Antarcticite scolded.
"Sorry, Antarc-san..." Moonstone said, hanging her head.
Antarc sighed and shook her head.
"Nevermind it Moonstone. Perhaps we will find a job more suited to you." Antarc said, leading her away.
"The second task required of us is to put down the sleepwalkers." She said as they entered the hibernation chamber.
There were only nine gems within, all sleeping separately and within comfortable distance of each other.
The one nearest to them, Rutile, had reddish-brown and golden-yellow hair. She was sleeping peacefully on the floor, perfectly and beautifully peaceful.
Next was Red and Green Diamond. Both were as perfect as diamond could be, also sleeping quietly.
Pink Topaz, Ruby and Blue Zoisite were the same as the last three, all sleeping peaceful and silent, each beautiful in their own way. At least in Moonstone's eyes.
The other three, Padparadscha, Sapphire and Yellow Diamond were restless, though Yellow was just tossing and turning.
Antarc showed Moonstone the ropes, taking a white sheet and covering Padparadscha with it. She gave Moonstone one while she covered Rutile. Moonstone, being the shy gem she was, flung the sheet at her, knocking Sapphire down.
Antarcticite laughed at her antics and showed her how to do it properly, reassuring her that they were not aware.
They then agreed that she should just take care of the other gems, who were unaware of her presence, and Kongo-sensei as well as digging up the snow in and around the school.
Moonstone handled these pretty well, with a little practice. She grew up pretty fast but she hadn't learned to fight yet, seeing as there haven't been any Lunarian Sightings yet.

~End of Ch.1~
Okay so I know that everyone knows that this used to be on another account and, disclaimer, I am the same person. However, this time, I would like to ask again what you guys would like to nickname Moonstone. I would mostly like it to be Japanese but other ideas are welcome. Thank you. Please just comment your suggestions. I will do this every chapter and I will only take this down when I have decided.
