Ahhh… So it’s time for the game to start…. How exciting… I heaved a sigh before walking over to Toby, tapping his shoulder.

“C’mon Toby, we have to go play this stupid game.” I muttered bitterly as he got to his feet.

“Sooo…  Should we try to come up with a strategy!” Toby said, sounding excited to try and put his strategic skills into action.

“Pfft, what’d you got?” I asked sounded rather bored, as I would be shocked if he’s come up with a good tactic, Toby wasn’t exactly the “Man with the plan” type of guy.

“Nothing!” He laughed as if this was suppose to amuse me. “That’s why we have to try and come up with a st-strategy!” He said, one of his tics emerging at the ending of his sentence.

I then sigh before we sit down, but not before Toby rushes off to get paper and, well crayons? I can’t help it when I see what utensil he comes back with, I burst out laughing.

“What’s so funny!” Toby scowled, as he looked around, determine to figure out what was causing me to laugh.

“Cr-Crayons! Really Tobes! We’re gonna look like five year olds trying to make a pr-pretty picture!” I said between fits of giggles. Toby it just now seemed to have it dawn on him that he did in fact carry a handful of crayons.

“Uhhh.. .Wh-whoops!” He said another Tic emitting from his body due to embarrassment. He then rushed off, returning with two pencils.

“Ah, much better!” I say taking one of the pencils from Toby, then looking to the piece of paper where I start to make a roughly drawn map of the mansion and the locations around it.

“No! The lake doesn’t go there!” I protest, as the lake is at least half a mile from where it’s drawn.

“Uhg! Does it really matter!” Clocky groans in response, I had been whining about this for the past three minutes…. Definitely not to annoy her… No… Why would I do that, hehe…

“Fine, do I really need to erase it!” She says with a huff, turning the eraser to the pencil.

“You know what I think I can overlook it.” I snicker as she sends me a death glare.

~Le, time skip again because I ish lazy.~

Well, after about thirty minutes of throwing ideas around we figured hiding or splitting up wouldn’t be the best option, after all we’re facing two professional stalkers here. So it came down to this.

Step one: Hide in two trees very, and I mean very close to the lake, to the point where we could jump in.

Step two: Stay there.

Step three: When or if they do find us we jump in then swim to the banks where we find another tree.. And hope they don’t catch us, repeat this process of evading.

“You know the map was almost pointless” Clocky muttered looking at the roughly drawn sketch.

“Ehh.. You never know it could come in handy..” I said simply. Hmm, it seems we would have very good timing for Masky and Hoodie came down the steps, I could swear they were snickering under their masks.

“So ready to play?” Masky laughs. “I’m guessing Clock’s playing too?”

“Yep.” I said.

“Alright, then let the game begin! We’ll give you a ten minute head start!” Masky said, still snickering.

Running.

Me and Toby were sprinting towards the moon-lit lake, as we franticly searched for a tree that suited our needs. After about a minute we found one, good thing too.

“There!” I pointed out two trees that nearly intertwined their branched together, and most importantly were close enough to jump into the less shallow water of the lake.

“Perfect!” Toby cheered as we climbed the two trees.

~Timeywhimywibblywobbly Timeskip.~

Just as we expected, the proxy twins were on our trail, looking in the mud for footprints, and snapped branches or broken twigs… Me and Tobes hadn’t been very careful when it came to getting here.

As they continued to follow our trail I stayed deathly still hoping they wouldn’t see Toby or I perching in the trees. They kept progressing, pointing out snapped twigs and disrupted piles of leaves. They followed them right near the lake, where they looked around.

“Where do you think they went?” Masky asked in a whisper, but since the forest was deathly silent it carried to the trees. Hoodie only shrugged in reply.

~Leedle. Guess what this is~

Once they had make sure they checked every nook and crany around the lake, they turned their attention to the sky, only now the idea seemed to dawn on them that we were in the trees.

“Hey.. Hoodie..” Masky whispered to his friend before pointing up at the trees. Hoodie only nodded in response. As the two proxies neared closer to the trees, their eyes scanning for any colors that shouldn’t be there.

After what seemed to be ten minutes Hoodie had finally managed to spot my combat boots, as his gaze lingered on where I was perched in the tree. Without taking his eyes off of me in case I vanished he motioned over for Masky pointing me out, whispering something unintelligible from where I sat. Hoodie then ran towards the tree, starting to climb, I swear he’s part squirrel!

“Hahah… Hey Hoods!” I said, pretending to act nervous as he approached me, crouching of course, we’re on a tree branch for fucks sake!

“L-Looks like I-I found you C-Clock, you really sh-should be more careful, it wa-was too easy to t-track you!” Hoodie said in a mocking tone.

“Well, Hoodie who needs to be careful when they have a brilliant plan!” I said, dropping my act before spinning around and leaping towards the lake. Although in hindsight I wished I had a better plan..
