Me and Kevin got out the elevator and into the lobby. As soon as we stepped out. Dad noticed us.
"Mr. McCallister?"
He quickly walked to us.
"And how are we this morning?"
"Fine. Is my transportation here yet?" Kevin asked.
"Out in front sir, a limousine and a pizza, compliments of the Plaza Hotel. I hope your father wasn't too mad about last night and send him my apologies."
"How would you feel if some pervert walked in on you in the shower. You wouldn't want that would you?"
"Of course not."
He turned to me.
"Would you mind introducing this young lady next to you?"
"Sure. She's my nanny."
"Yes sir!" I said.
I patted Kevin on the back.
"Come young master, the limo's waiting!"
"Bye," Kevin said to Dad.
We walked away as he nodded and grinned.
"Have a lovely day!" I heard him say.
He didn't recognise me! Mom kept him alienated from me for a decade, I didn't blame him one bit.
We walked outside and saw the driver and Cedric.
"Morning Mr. McCallister and Olivia, here's your very own cheese pizza."
That pizza looked so good! We got in the limo.
"Where to kids?" The driver asked.
"Any recommendations?" I asked.
"The ice skating rink."
"I can't skate."
"How about...well...ask the concierge, he knows all about the popular attractions."
"Fine then."
I got out the limo and walked in the lobby where Dad was.
"Oh, it's the McCallister nanny. What can I do for you?"
"Will you by any chance recommend any place for my young master to visit?"
"Well, Duncan's Toy Chest is having a huge holiday sale! If he likes toys and all that sort of thing."
"Great idea!"
I looked at his name tag.
"Thank you very much Mr. Hector."
"My pleasure."
"My name's Olivia."
"Olivia...Olivia, I have a daughter named Olivia."
"There are tons of girls named Olivia, it is a common name."
"I know right? I haven't seen my Olivia since me and her mother divorced, I miss her very much...I don't wanna bother you with my personal life!"
"It's alright. Thank you very much for the recomendation. Good bye."
"Good bye Olivia."
I walked away and said silently to myself.
"Good bye Dad."
I got in the limo.
"Duncan's Toy Chest please!"
Kevin smiled at me.
"Awesome!"
"Good choice," the driver said.
We were off. Kevin and me were watching The Grinch animated movie.
Kevin took a slice of pizza out of the box.
"Want a piece?"
"Sure."
I took a slice.
We ate the whole box by the time we got to the toy store. We went inside. It was cool in there, a lot of holiday decorations.
We looked around for a few minutes.
I followed Kevin to the register to look at the toys near it. Then, an old man walked to us.
"Interested in the turtle doves?" He asked me.
"Yes sir."
He got four of them out of the small Christmas tree.
"Here you are. You can keep one for yourself and give the second one to someone you love."
"Thank you sir," Kevin said.
Kevin also donated some of the money from his father's wallet. That was sweet, Kevin was by far the cutest, smartest, sweetest little boy I ever met.
We got back in the limo.
"Where to next?" the driver asked.
"How about Madison Square Garden. Drop us off and meet us there in an hour. Me and Kevin are gonna explore."
"Sure."
We were dropped off and set off on our exploration.
