When Will You Be Back?

Papyrus, Sans, and Y/N began to walk home from the Tem Shop. It took two hours to get to the Tem Shop, so it would take two hours to get back to Snowdin. An hour in, Y/N began to feel sleepy, and if it wasn't for Papyrus, she would have faceplanted on the ground. So Papyrus picked her up bridal style and carried her all the way home. But he kept blushing because Y/N would get all comfy and snuggle against him. After an hour later, they got home, and Papyrus put Y/N on her bed. "Goodnight, Y/N." Papyrus said quietly. He kissed her cheek and left the room.

When Y/N woke up, she noticed Papyrus and Sans standing in the doorway. "Well, this feels familiar. I wonder why?" Y/N said, sitting up. "I wanted to tell you that I had to go do something." Papyrus said. "What did you need to do?" Y/N asked. "Well, he needs to go see the king about the royal guard position." Sans said. "Are you sure that you don't need me to come?" Sans asked. "No, I need to establish my independentcy in order to get the job." Papyrus replied. "When will you be back?" Y/N asked. "A week or two. The castle is very far from here, so I wanted to say goodbye." Papyrus said. Y/N got out of the bed and ran over to Papyrus. She gave him a big hug, and said, "Be safe. And punch anything that tries to hurt you. Hard." She stopped hugging and smiled. "Now that's good advice." Sans said. "It really FISTS your description!" Sans winked. "SANS!!!" Papyrus yelled, stomping his foot. "What? It was a really good PUNCH-line!" Sans said, winking again. Papyrus tried to keep a smile down, but it didn't work. "You're smiling!" Sans said. "I know I am. I'm going to miss you. And your stupid puns." Papyrus said, hugging Sans. 'Awww' Y/N thought, not daring to say it. "Okay, I'll be back in two weeks. No, wait, a Royal Guardsman Papyrus will be back in two weeks!" Papyrus said. "Good luck, Pap." Sans said, watching Papyrus walk out the door. "So, now what do you want to do?" Y/N asked Sans. "We wait for him to come back."
