Forget the Past ~Skylox~

part three

~~Sky's pov~~

I smiled to myself as I made my way back down stairs but I could feel fear creeping in. I knew nothing about Deadlox and I was letting him stay at my house what if he was a murderer or a thief and I just set him up for more. No I don't think he is he seemed so innocent in a way like he had been the victim. I was brought from my thoughts as my stomach growled so I went to the kitchen to make a meal for me and Deadlox. I'm sure he is hungry too he seemed like he had been in the wild for a while.

~~Deadlox's pov~~

I stepped out of the warmth of the shower into the cold bathroom. The mirror was covered in fog but I could still see the purple-ish bruises on my torso and the pink scars on my arms. I dried my hair and body and put on the clothes Sky had given me. They smelt clean and fresh. I exited the bathroom and entered my bedroom well at least the one I'm staying in. The hallway smelt of food which made me realise how hungry I was. I sat down and thought about how crazy this situation was. I was at the house of a stranger with barely any questions asked. what if Sky is just as bad as him or what if he brings me to him again. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a small knock on my door and a soft voice. "Hey, Deadlox I made some food if you want to come down for dinner."

"Okay." I replied quietly getting up from the bed and slowly walking down stairs where Sky picked up two plates handing one to me I followed him to his small table that seated four sitting across from him.

~~Sky's pov~~

I was very curious as to what Deadlox had been through and what he was running from but I didn't ask knowing he probably wouldn't answer. Maybe one day he would tell me.

We ate in silence for a while but I broke it "So I am 21. how old are you?"

"18." he said quietly not looking up from his plate

"Cool, so what do you like to do?" I asked trying to keep the conversation going but also trying not to hit sensitive subjects.

"I don't know... listen to music I guess."he replied still looking down

He didn't seem very interested in the conversation so i said "cool." before giving up and eating in silence again
