FBG Chapter 9

Another day another dollar, Me and my Gay brother Dylan is here in our Lemonade Bar, a bar for jerks well I guess so... but we had lots of customers so it was okay.. it was our new business and it was near the streets of new york. Our Lemonade bar has been for 3 months now and I guess it really helped us so much, until a woman walked to our counter.

"What's your specialty today?" she asked our bartender

"We have Sparkling Lemonade Tequila"

"I'll have two please" 

As I scanned this girl's face, I've seen her before.. she seemed so familiar. Until a man walked in to our bar, it was Dad! so I hid to the kitchen...peeking into the door of it.

"What the hell are you doing there? lil sissy"

"Ssssh! just go here too"

"Why? shut up and just do it"

So he went to the kitchen and the both of us were peeking into the door.

"Its dad!"

"Yes, that's why I wanted you to come in here with me"

"He seems happy"

"That's her wife right?"

"Yes Dylan"

I've never seen my father so happy, he was often quite or angry with my mom, good thing they divorced, it was the best thing to do.

"So what will we do? will we approach them?"

"No! I don't want to ruin their moment..." 

I checked my phone and texted my dad.

Hey dad uhmm where are you?

I peeked to the door, seeing if he got the message... He's phone rang and it lit up but he seems to ignore it because he's having a good time. And I realized maybe that girl is the one destined for him and not mom, Good thing he found her. Then my phone lit up and got a text message from my dad.

Were at some lemonade bar in new york, hey baby what to come over? I'm with your step mom

"Hmm, okay! I'll be there in 1 minute"

I wanted to surprise him but her wife suddenly screamed.

"Wahhh! Roger, I think the baby's coming..."

Oh she's pregnant? I only saw her beautiful face and nothing else... My Dad left and got his Red Car and went to the hospital for sure.. and It was chaos, I didn't get the chance to finally see him and talk to him for like 2 months. So I went outside already and checked my phone.

"Hey Dad, I'm here already where are you?"

Sorry Sarah, Your step mom had an emergency, we forgot that its her labor month, I'm sorry Sarah! I'd bond with you soon.. but right now your step mom is going to give birth... see you soon! i love you

Her wife has the most of his attention. Hmm he seems to forget that he has other children as well. Another customer walked in and it was Jacob, surprisingly I was shocked because he's so rich and he won't just go to any local bars here in NYC.

"Hey Lynny, its you Why are you here?"

"Hey Penny, This bar is ours"

"Like that's real"

"Why won't you believe me?"

"Because NYC restaurants are expensive you know"

I grabbed his arm and went to the frame that indicates the we own the Lemonade bar, I pointed the frame that has our names on it

"I believe in you, I was just joking... so can I buy you a drink?"

"Sure.. if you want to"

"What do you want?"

"Strawberry Lemonade Sparkle"

So he ordered to our cashier Mei Ling, she's chinese.

"We'll have Blueberry Lemonade Scotch and Strawberry Lemonade Sparkle"

"That would be $32 Sir"

"Here you go, keep the change"

"Thank you Sir"

He gave $50 dollars and told Mei Ling our cashier to keep the change, damn he's so rich! So we walked to the Pink table of ours and talked...

"So Lynny, how are you?"

"I'm good I guess, I'm having a baby sister"

"Your mom's pregnant?"

"Surprisingly, NO! but my Step Mother is giving birth to a baby girl right at this moment"

"Ohh Jeez, why aren't you happy?"

"Cause that baby belongs to my step mom and not my real mom"

"I know how it feels, were a broken family too"

I was shocked with what he said, he actually shared his broken family problem to me, I think people rarely know this, and he trusted me... how nice.
