December 31st 2018 January 1st 2019 New year's Eve and New years day.

"Hey Sas, like the hat," Gabe says.

"Thank you, Kat made me wear it," I reply with a smile.

"So where's Evert?" He asks.

"He's sleeping, that's why the music is low," I say holding up the monitor.

The housemates wanted to have a New year's party, and Christmas party,  and they asked me if I would be okay with that.

I told them that I don't mind as long as drunk people stay away from my baby and noise stays low.

Bear has been soundly sleeping for two and a half hours now.

"Hey Gabe!" Corey calls.

He excuses himself and goes over to him.

I go into the kitchen.

"Hey honey," Colby says.

He sips from his red solo cup.

"Hi cutie," I say.

"You having fun?" He asks.

"Yep, I appreciate how everyone is keeping the noise down," I say.

"Yep because there's a sleeping baby upstairs if he wakes up you'll have a long night," he says drunkenly.

"Nope, you do cutie. Better sober up a little," I chuckle.

He looks shocked.

I smile and walk into the living room.

"Sas, having fun?" Kat asks.

I nod.

I feel sick all of a sudden.

"Scratch that," I say.

I run over to the bathroom.

I like up dinner.

"Too much to drink Sas?" Kat asks with laugh.

She pulls my hair back.

"I haven't had any alcohol," I say.

"Weird, maybe it was something you ate," she says.

"We all ate the same thing," I reply.

"Oh well, I don't know what else, maybe a stomach bug," she say.

"Maybe, but I have an idea, come with me upstairs," I say.

I flush the toilet and take her hand.

We go upstairs.

I take her into the nursery.

Bear is still sleeping soundly.

"What's in here?" She asks.

I shush her with my finger.

I go over to the bookshelf and pull off a box.

I open it and grab what I'm looking for.

I close the box and put it back before leading Kat back outside.

"What's that?" She asks.

"A pregnancy test," I whisper.

I pull her over to the bathroom.

"Will you wait while I take it?" I ask.

She nods.

I go in and take it.

I slid it into my pocket and wash my hands.

I go out.
