March 7th, 2019.

I am so ready to die

Today has been nothing but cramps, morning sickness, and tears.

Nonetheless, I have been trying to go on with my day as normally as possible.

Not to mention today is the gender reveal.

Bear babbles happily in his high chair as I spoon feed him yogurt.

He smiles widely.

I smile with adoration.

My stomach fills with the bubbles again.

I attempt to hold back my bile.

"Here, I'll take over," Aaron says.

"Lifesaver!" I exclaim dropping the spoon and dashing towards the bathroom.

I speed past Corey going to the same destination and drop down in front of the toilet.

"Colby! Your wife is literally dying in this bathroom!" Corey yells.

I would have laughed if I didn't have stomach acid clogging up my throat.

Colby steps in, setting his phone on the counter and kneels beside me.

My hair, already up, fortunately.

He rubs my back and reached for tissue or something.

I sit up and lean against the wall.

"I guess I'll just go pee upstairs then," Corey says before turning away awkwardly.

Colby uses the tissue to wipe the corners of my mouth clean.

"You okay?" He asks.

I give a glare.

"I know, just trying to leave open your options. Come on I'll make you something to eat," he says.

"No!" I whine. "Nothing stays down."

"You have to try, come on."

He tosses the soiled tissue in the toilet and flushes away the evidence.

He rises to his feet and pulls me to mine.

We go into the kitchen, and he sits me at the table.

He goes into the kitchen and starts bustling around.

I watch Aaron feed Evert.

If only.

"Here, oatmeal. Easy on the stomach, but still healthy and delicious," Colby says.

"Thank you," I reply.

I take the spoon and put a bite into my mouth.

"Who's ready to party?" Devyn calls.

She looks at me and frowns.

"Alright then," she says.

"Don't worry, I'll be good to go in a bit, we still have an hour," I say.

"Take your time, people understand," she says.

I nod and look over at Bear, smiling away.

"I guess that's our cue to shower," Colby says taking him from the highchair.

"Thank you," he says to Aaron.

"Dada," Bear murmurs.

Colby kisses my head.

"Take your time, but eat," he says going upstairs.

I smile lightly.

I finish my oatmeal and wash my bowl.
