Annie ran. She ran away from the life she's known ever since. She ran away from her father, from her stepmother, from everything in the Metro. Her whole life is a mess right now and she wants to put herself back together.

She misses her mom. Her mom died when she was 10. Her dad remarried a few years later. To her surprise, her stepmother's daughter is her father's illegitimate daughter. Meaning even before, her dad made a mistake and had a relationship to another woman who bore his illegitimate child. But this is not a big deal to her, her crazy stepmother's arrogance. Hindi niya ito pinapansin because she knows she has the upper hand, her father loves her the most. Wala rin siyang problema sa half-sister nito dahil hindi naman sila nagpapansinan.

All Annie wants right now is the freedom that she doesn't have ever since she was born. Her father is a loving dad but is a very strict man. Annie doesn't even know why her dad forcibly trained her to learn different kind of martial arts. It was at her advantage though, she really wants to learn those things.

Now, she's running away. Going to a place where her father cannot reach her. A place where her father hates. A place where he has no power. A place that he cannot fathom to imagine where his daughter is.
