Au:No quirks
Izuku P.O.V
Today was the day I move into my new apartment. After finishing college to become a writer/journalist I decided to move somewhere small. Big places make me feel uneasy especially since I live alone. Small places fit my taste better and give me a feeling of home.
While I walked up the stairs I tightly held my favorite book, 'The Mighty Tales of All Might' by Toshinori Yagi'. His work has encouraged my writing greatly. I used my right hand, the one not holding the book, to grab the black railing on the gray staircase. My Flat was on the 5th floor of this 7 story apartment.
When I finally got to my floor the hall was very quiet. Each door had a white light next to it almost like a porch light except they were always on. The walls of the hall were a light gray compared to the dark gray stairs. The lining at the bottom was a navy blue with a small silver stripe going through the middle. To complement both the wall and lining, the floor was a calming blue-gray. I smiled loving the way it looked already, it was both exciting and terrifying to move somewhere new.
112...113...114...
Aha! Room number 115.
I stopped at the beautiful navy door. On it was the number 115 written neatly in silver along with a silver peephole. I took out my keys from my pocket and opened the door walking in. All my furniture and boxes were thankfully in their correct places. Next to the door was a silver coat rack where I'd often take my shoes off.
I took off my yellow checkered slip on vans setting them down next to the door and examined my appearance in the mirror. My hair was a curly mess like usual while my eyes were a very vibrant emerald. I looked at my freckles which, despite the many compliments I had received about them, were something I was very self-conscious about. My dark black skinny jeans fit me tightly as I wore an oversized yellow sweater which dropped down just a few inches above my knees.
Turning away from my mirror I walked over to the kitchen counter and set my book down. The apartment was very modern looking. My kitchen table tops are a gray marble with black cabinets and silver handles. All my shelves in the house were a light gray as well as my couch, which held fluffy emerald pillows. Little plants lined many of the window sills to make it look much more green. Of course, I had other green knick knacks to match the theme of the house.
The apartment was, of course, amazing but my favorite part was the sliding glass doors in the living room leading to the balcony. To say I was excited was an understatement, the view of the city would surely be amazing.
I smiled opening the doors, walking out onto the concrete balcony. It was a very cloudy day and looked like it would rain.
What an amazing view of the cit-
My thoughts were caught off when I saw a man with half red and half white hair standing in the balcony next to mine. Not only did he have an amazing face and jawline but a great body as well. He was only wearing red basketball shorts fully exposing his toned chest and damn that V-lin- WHAT AM I SAYING.
My cheeks felt hot as I blushed and hid my face in my hands which were covered by the long yellow sleeves. When I had slightly calmed down I lifted my head only to be met with two bi-colored eyes, one gray and the other an icy blue. He wore a small smirk with a look of amusement. He knew I was checking him out.
I let out a squeak and quickly went back inside closing the sliding doors. I put a hand over my chest trying to calm down my heart. That man was an absolute god. Chill out Izuku, it's not like he's going to come knock on the do- *knock knock* So help me if that's him at the door.
I walked to the door and looked through the peephole. Surely enough there stood the bi-colored god. I chewed my lip nervously and opened the door.
"You must be new," he said. "My name is Shoto Todoroki."
"Yeah, I just moved in," I said nervously."I'm Izuku Midoriya."
"May I come in?" he asked 'innocently'.
'"Of course." I said moving out of the entrance.
He took off his black old skool vans putting them next to mine. Thankfully, not really, he was 'wearing a black sweater with red fire designs on the sleeves. I led him to the kitchen as he sat on one of the silver stools.
"Would you like anything to drink?" I asked standing across from him, behind the counter.
"No thanks." He said taking in my appearance.
I instantly covered my freckles feeling very self-conscious.I felt Todoroki's hands, with many metal rings, grab my wrists and tug them away from my face.
"You have very pretty freckles." He looked me in the eyes while still holding my wrists. "And such stunning eyes."
I blushed turning my head to the side,"I'm really not that special."
"Yes you a-" He started but was cut off by a loud thunder strike that caused the power to go out
I jumped, god did I really hate thunder.
"I guess that's my cue to leave" He chuckled standing up,
"Wait!! Could you possibly stay," I looked down at my shoes feeling embarrassed. "I mean you don't have to I just don't want to be alone while its dark and I mean I could keep you company as well, nevermind I shouldn't be asking for so much when we just met, I don't even know if you live alone and-"
My sentence was cut off as Todoroki lifted my chin up to meet his eyes, the moonlight giving him a beautiful glow. He's about a foot taller than me.
"Of course I'll stay with you." He said looking down at me.
I looked into his eyes and traveled down to his lips. How could I already be so attracted to someone I just met. Before I knew it we were both leaning in. His lips were warm and soft while mine were cold. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me as he did the same to my waist.
The kiss got more heated as he pushed me against the counter and bit the bottom of my lip. I opened my mouth enough for him to slide his tongue in and explore my mouth. At the same time I lightly tugged the back of his hair, getting him to groan into my mouth as I hummed in response. Sadly we had to pull apart for air.
I quietly pant breathing through my now bruised lips. The thunder brings me back to reality and I look back up at todoroki who is also silently catching his breath.
"Want to rest on the couch?" I ask moving towards it
"Yeah" he responds as I grab a fluffy green-gray blanket.
He sits down and I hand him the blanket turning away to sit on the other side. Before I could even take a step forward I feel todorokis hands slide around my waist and pull me backward so that I am sitting on his lap.
"You're staying with me," he says laying us both down on the couch.
I yawn leaning into his touch as my eyes began to droop, "Thank you for staying with me Todoroki"
"It's no problem, maybe we can do this again sometime"
"I'd love that," I say falling into a peaceful sleep full of todoroki dreams.
