9. ONE STEP CLOSER

Let's start the story.............

In swara's room

Swara is sleeping in the bed covered with the duvet

Sanskar is sleeping on the coach

Sunrays disturbs swara's sleep

She frowned n get up holding her head as it is paining so much

She get down of the bed and shivered feeling cool air on her bare legs

She saw down and shocked to see herself in a man's shirt

Then she saw sanskar in the coach sleeping peacefully

And with a baby steps she reached him and started to wake him up

Swara : sanky ..... get up

Sanskar : mom let me sleep na

Swara jerked him and he woke up startled

Sanskar ( with sleepy eyes) : what happened swara

Swara (again jerking him) : you sleepy head get up

Finally sanskar got up from his sleep

And first sight which he saw is his swara hovering over him
He gave a cute smile to swara thinking it to be his dream like any other mornings.

Swara is confused seeing his smile.

Swara : why are you seeing me like this?

Sanskar (realising its not dream):swara what are you doing in my room

Swara: look around, this is my room

Sanskar looks around and smile sheepishly looking towards swara.

Swara gave a narrowed look towards him

Swara: what are you doing here? and (stammers) wh... who changed my dress?

That's the moment sanskar realised in what position both are in.

Sanskar raised his head and saw an embarrassed swara standing not meeting his eyes.

Sanskar ( thought to play around ) : swara don't you remember anything (acts like being shocked )

Swara : what ?

Sanskar (controlling his smile) : don't you remember anything happened between us?

Swara : don't try to fool me. I know nothing happened

Sanskar ( amused) : how can you be sure?

Swara (immediately): because I trust you..

Sanskar and swara's eyes met eachother for a long eyelock

Sanskar is the first one to come to the sense.

Soon both averted their gaze.

Swara (explaining): when I woke up and saw myself in a man's shirt I was just shocked but when I saw you sleeping on the recliner I was somewhere relieved, but when you behaved like that, I know you were joking around because if it is true then you must be in the bed with me.

Sanskar was really amazed hearing her.

Sanskar (composing himself): why don't you take bath,till then I will bring something for you to eat

Swara nodded at him

Sanskar left the room and went towards kitchen.

No one has gotten up yet being tired from yesterday's event

Sanskar quickly made lemonade and veg sandwich and went towards swara's room.

Sanskar knocked swara's door, entered after getting permission.

Swara was sitting in her bed by keeping her head in her knees.

Sanskar came and forwarded lemonade to swara

After drinking it,swara felt better

Swara: sanskar what happened yesterday, I don't remember anything

Sanskar: when I was returning back to room i spotted you sitting under the stairs, when I came near you I realized that you are not behaving normally, and you are drunk. So I took you to your room. You became wet changing your dress and have to change it. (Immediately) don't worry I closed my eyes while changing.

Swara:ok sanskar, don't worry I won't mistake you

Soon swara and sanskar shared the sandwich

Afternoon....

As everyone got late to wake up so they skipped the breakfast.

So everyone is at dinning hall

Even ragini is also sitting in the chair

When cleaning yesterday's mess servants heard ragini's Voice from the storeroom and broke the lock of storeroom.

And shocked to see her covered with rat bites.

Then laksh called doctor not to create any scene in uttara's in laws.

When everyone asked her to rest , she denied to prove herself a good bahu..

Sujatha is enjoying seeing her face

Sanskar and swara had a hard time in controlling their laughter seeing her face.

After lunch everyone is seated in the living room

Sharadha: every function goes really well, I have called a flower jewellery designer to come so that Uttara can select her flower jewellery for haldi ceremony.

Swara , who was silent till now exclaimed in delight

Swara: Even I will wear flower jewellery

Sharadha: Shona only bride should wear flower jewellery

Suresh: sharadha,let her wear, this is the age to enjoy

Sharadha: ok , then choose any colour but not yellow. Only bride should wear yellow flowers

Swara: ok, done...
