The Quest of Dor

Chapter 1

It is the time to unleash my powers.I'm Liya Marix Dor, I lived in Fiore.I'm officially a wizard when I turned 17,yes, I do have magic.

My element is ice and sub-element is air. I am dominant by my father's power which is ice, he was one of the Ten Saint's but unfortunately my father died because of his sickness, I grew up without a mother. But I know her name, Leah.

My father told me that she died while doing her quest. My father objected me from being a wizard, afraid of losing me.

I beg my father for over half of my life just to study in Marijoe Sanctuary. It's a school of magic, from basic to combats and chanting spells.

We live in different castes. My father and I are 5 my father working under the counsel until he was proposed to be one of the Ten Saint's which made us as a 2.

We have the privilege to travel the world between humans and wizards. Castes are divided in to 8, it's the lowest among castes system, but there were rumors about zeros. They are called as Tenryu. I don't know everything about them, they were just rumors, even for 1 who believes they're the highest of all.

I started my day brushing my hair,while wearing my suits, I have a staff, it was my father's. It was the only momentum I have. I missed him so much. I was still not using it because it exceeded my limits. I stayed in a small dorm around the Fiore City since I lived on my own .Even if I'm two I still live in frugal ways since I am not used to be some shopahollic bitch who buys anything they saw and boast it with their fellow wizards.Arghh. I ate my breakfast, a sandwhich and some freshmilk. I run as fast as I could because I was running late. My blonde hair is in it's weird direction around my face as I run.I tied it up. I just recently graduated from Magi Ford Co as a highscolar. I took a ride on a portal which costs around 50 jewels.I have an allowance of 3,000 jewels deliberately for one week. I immediately arrived at my school for 10 s. In human society it is called an elevator. Wizard were once a human, like me. We become officially wizards at the age of 17. On my studies in Magi there are only about 0.002% chances for a human to become a wizard. But it was not new to me. My father and mother was both a wizard so obviously, I am too. And now I'm officially a wizard, I'm so happy about it even if my father had opposed for it at first. I enter the school and immediately run through the bulletin board to see what dept. I am. There I saw that there are about 5 dept. Each dept. is as big as an island. Each of it covers approximately 100 hectares. Transferring to one dept. is used by a portal, technically that would be around 10 s. But there is no fare. Skypeak, Heldom, Skanvar, Gundam, and Skyford dept. I am in Skyford dept. which is 1 mile away from the main building. I decided to take a ride on the portal. I got my I.D to use in activating the portal. So there would be no jewels and such. There are many wizards who took the ride along. As we landed we are fascinated by the view of the school. There are flying cars. There are leisure places where you can spend your time to relax. There are restaurants, malls, a hospital. It is far different from the human world. It is not even a school, it is a city to be exact. I am really mesmerized by its beauty. I bought a map to be my guide. I look through it and searched for the school. I saw a lot of wizards who wore a bizarre coats, staffs, wands,maces, clubs, hats and some had tattooes. Each department has an emblem. It is how each of us recognizes one another. I am on my way to my room when suddenly someone bumped on me. It's face is covered by a hood. Must be one of our dept. because the person had the emblem on his shirt as a pin. The person was in hurry so I paid no attention anymore. I went to my room. I saw a lot of pretty faces of both girls and boys. They are maybe 4-2 castes. I'm 2, but I wasn't born us one. So you might be confused about castes, as far as I could remember from my elem in how do each different castes live. Humans from 8-6 castes who has the ability to be a wizard will be shifted directly as 5. Humans can offer quests to wizard in exchange for jewels. Humans can be from 8-1 castes. Wizards are from 5-1 castes.

8: Poverty is their main problem. Black market who sells illegal potion and spells are sold here. Girls sold their body exchange for money.

7: Usually works in the councel as servants.

I searched an empty chair and sat on it. I saw the person who bumped me on my right. He is a boy. He have this pale skin, green eyes, tender lips, long dark brown hair and he is tall. After a while our wizard teacher arrived. " Hello everyone I'm Margaux, your sensei, starting from the first row introduce yourselves please." They started introducing theirselves to one another. I was seated at the back row, I was thinking of how can I introduce my name. It was almost my turn next. "Hi, I'm Earl Trancy, 18 yrs old. Element is ice, a one." He said weakly. I searched his eyes then he caught mine. I was nervous. He is so handsome and plus a royalty. "Hi, I'm Liya Marix Dor, 17, ice and air, a two. Astonished by my elements. Our introductions were done. We are asked to find our partner, but others had already been partnered except for me, I saw Trancy just sitting in his chair, I approached him. " Do you want to be my partner?" I exclaimed,he nodded. I smiled. We went outside the building and saw a big magical garden. There was a fountain in the middle. There were lots of sculpture. Thousands of flowers and trees. There was even a maze. I was enchanted, I never expected this much. Plus I even met this handsome+royalty+wizard+shy boy. Gosh I'm now going nuts.
