Chapter 4

" What exactly is happening?! ". I thought

I shook Earl's shoulder waiting for his response. But he didn't. I was frantic, I had no idea what was going on him. He told me I was his only friend and he had no family so I have the oblige to help him. I want to help him.

The rescuer came. They checked Earl's pulse while I was holding his hand. The rescuers confirmed that he's fine. They carried him to the car, I begged if I could get in, luckily they agreed. The doctor of wizards Mr. Oz briefly checked Earl. " Are you an acquintance of Earl?" the doctor asserted. " Yes, I am his only custody. " I affirmed. " He's just tired, a rest should medicate his condition. He can go home for the night but he needs someone to look out for him." Mr Oz offered.

" I am in your debt Mr.Oz "

" It's my job, nothing much."

Earl woke up, he had no idea what happened to him.

" Where am I? "he asked.

" You're in the Skyford Hospital right now. You suddenly fainted while you were about to chant a spell." I confirmed

" Ahh." he murmured. He stood up from his bed, grabbed his shirt and his bag.

" Hey! I was worried sick and your only response is " Ahh" . What kind of you?I retorted.

" I'm sorry. I was ----" His words were weak.

" No, it's fine if it's a secret you must keep but next time tell me what is going wrong with you whether you're sick or not. Maybe I could be a help to you. Were friends aren't we? I declared.

I can see his tears started to flow. " Yeah . I love you! "

I decided that Earl will be staying in my dorm for the night. I asked a permit to the caretaker to have him sleep with me. I don't know but I feel eary. It's weird, everytime I look at him I'm getting hot. Did I heard it right? Maybe I was just hearing things.

" Are you tired? " I asked him.

" Not really " he responded.

" Do you wanna have some Earl Grey Tea "

" Sure, if I was not being a bother to you."he assured.

" Not a bit ". I lied. I have no idea what is going on with me. It feels strange whenever he accidentally touch or look on me. My body feels so hot. Am I sick?

It was already 3 in the midnight and still he hadn't sleep. I was so dozy but I have to look out for him before he sleeps. He noticed that I felt tired as he look through my eyes. I unconciously rests on his shoulder until I dozed off.

I found him lying on the couch. I was already in my bed, I continued to sleep since I was tired and he was still there fast asleep.

I woke up early in the morning. There was no trace of Earl inside my room. The blanket and pillow he used was fixed. I decided to prepare for my school later since time is fast approaching. Something popped up when I was preparing my toast. It was a message through magic. It says that our unfinished mission will be proceed today. I ate my breakfast and brushed my hair and teeth.I ironed my wizard suit through magic. " Abra Kadabra ". I wore my suit and grabbed my bag and went outside to the portal. As usual I handed my I.D to the operator, Amaimon.

I arrived at my school after, I was desperately searching for him. I've wonder how is he doing. But I guess he's fine. There was a crowd not far from where I am standing. I tried asking my classmates but they had no idea. I went near trying to check what was going on. There stood a man, about 6 foot, those silhouette. Damn, he so hot! When I was once a human, I WAS A FANGIRL. Haha.
