Harry's POV

I stepped out of the studio with Niki.

What does she bloody want?

"So, whats up?" I ask when we're far enough down the hallway.

"Oh, I thought we could chat in my car for a bit. Where it's a bit more.. private." She said putting a hand on my chest and leaning in.

"Niki—"

"Doesn't have to be my car, yours—"

"I only came out here because you said it would be quick. Now what is it?"

She scuffed and stepped back crossing her arms over her chest.

"Are you seriously going to treat me like this?"

"Like what?" I said with a sigh. She's going to start this now?

"Like I'm just some toy you play with and use till your tired of it. Like I'm just some girl who plays the piano for you and that's that."

"Niki—"

"We kissed Haz. And I know you—"

"No. You kissed me. I ended it the moment it began. There was no 'We' within those seconds. And actually I've been meaning to speak to you about that."

Niki looked at me with wide eyes and took a step back, her arms at her side now,  as I came closer so I didn't need to speak too loudly.

"What you did was highly unprofessional and caught me completely off guard. I chose you as my piano player because Dave told me you're amazing. And you are. You're beyond what I hoped for in a pianist. But I also agreed to this because you came off as a nice girl with a passion for music. I thought maybe we'd get on well... as friends."

I was trying not to be harsh. The last thing I want is issues with my Producers daughter.
But the look on her face told me she didn't give three shits whether I was being harsh or not.
She just wasn't having it.

"How could you lead me on like that?!"

"Excuse me?" I asked taking a step back and looking at her in disbelief

"Is this what you do? You make girls feel all special and once your done with your game you just throw them—"

"I'm going to stop you right there. Not once within these couple weeks that I've known you have I tried to lead you on. If you took my kindness as an act to pursue you, I'm sorry but you are very much mistaken. And to prevent any further confusion, I'm informing you now that I'm not interested in you that way. There's nothing going on between you and I. I see you as a talented piano player and friend, that is it. I'm sorry if me trying to show good partnership caused you to think otherwise. Leading you on was not what I intended."  I began walking back to the studio.

"Have a good rest of your day Niki, and drive safely."

"It's because of her, isn't it?" She shouted, still standing in the same spot.

I stopped and turned towards her.

"As I said before, if you've mistaken my kindness as an act to pursue you then I apologize. I never meant for such a misunderstanding. Now if you can't accept that, then I'm afraid I'm going to have to put word out for a new pianist." I turned back around to walk away from her and finally head back to the studio. I wasn't going to keep on with this back and forth game. I said what I had to say whether she accepted it or not. It just is what it is.

"What?!" That's when she lost her shit.

"Who the hell do you think you are? So what? Some dark hair'd twat comes into the picture and you think you can drop me, just like that? Just moving on to the next doll, huh? And then threaten me? Are you forgetting my father owns the studio you're in! I suggest you watch yourself Mr. Styles. You won't just lose a pianist but a producer as well. Because I won't hesitate for a second to tell daddy to cut your sorry ass off! You and that little hoe won't step foot in here again!"
