The next day......
Lying on her bed, Samantha was so traumatized because of what happened to her yesterday that she didn't want to go to school that day, but her mother Katherine really insisted her to go, so she had no other choice but to pick herself up and get ready for school. After eating breakfast, she quickly jumped to their car and sat on her seat, so silent. When they arrived at school, her mom asked her to quit making up stories. "Sam, you have to stop this whole thing" said Katherine, with a calm voice. "But mom, what I saw and what happened to me yesterday was all real !" replied Sam. "Sam, I said stop this!" shouted her mom. "You can't just make up stories about someone following you then suddenly vanished in just a flash." she continued. "But mom! " replied Sam. "Promise me...." said Katherine. "But! " shouted Sam. "NO BUTS!!! Promise me you'll stop this and that's final!" yelled her mom. "Fine...."she replied. "Promise!" her mom insisted. "I promise!, this will never happen again" promised Samantha but with her fingers crossed.
On the hallway......
"I can't believe that mom didn't even try to believe me" said Sam, talking to herself. While she was walking, she saw a guy at the end of the hallway who has a really weird, creepy stare. The guy was unfamiliar to her, so she walked closer but when she arrived at the end, the guy disappeared in just a flash. And then the school bell rang, so she just forget about it and went straight to their English class. Ms. Williams, their English teacher, is the exact opposite of Mrs. Vasquez. She is a 28 year old teacher who only started teaching 3 years ago. She is pretty, smart, nice and kind but there's a rumor that's been circulating in their school lately that, underneath that pretty nice face lies a dark secret that neither anyone knows.
Meanwhile.....
"Good morning everyone!! " exclaimed Ms. Williams, with a very high energy. "Good morning, Ma'am!" replied the students. "So, does anyone know what we're gonna do today?". Nor a single student replied. "Oh, I guess I'm just talking to myself this morning..."she continued. Still, nor a single student replied. "Class, this morning we are going to tackle about the story of ........" said Ms. Williams. While Ms. Williams is telling the story, Samantha, like always, still has her mind wandering....Thinking of the weird things that's been happening to her lately. "Uhm, Samantha, is something bothering you?" asked Ms. Williams, politely."I can't help but notice you keep looking at the ceiling, is something wrong?" she continued. "Oh, nothing Ma'am, I was just recalling something" replied Sam. "Well, if nothings bothering you, It would be a pleasure if you start paying attention to the story, okay?" said Ms. Williams. "Yes, Ma'am" she replied.
45 minutes later.....
"And that's the end of our story". said Ms. Williams while closing the book. While Samantha was almost out of the room, Ms. Williams called her. "Yes, Ms. Williams?" asked Sam,politely. "You know Sam, I maybe your English teacher in school, but outside, I can be your friend, so if something is bothering you, you can just call me and ask for help, OK?" said Ms. Williams with a fine smile on her face. "Okay, thanks, Ms. Williams" she replied, with relief. While Samantha was checking her locker, she saw Kyle, talking to someone.
To be continued......
