I landed in front of the gate of Malfoy Manor. I wouldn't deny that I was scared. On my flight, a few old memories from when I was a child resurfaced. The oldest that I got in my memories was about four years old.

I took a deep breath before walking up to the gate. I was stopped by the gate saying to me, "State your name and your purpose."

"My name is Hadrius Tomas Riddle and I am here to see my godparents."

"My word, Lord Riddle, it has been quite some time since I have seen you here." It replied in a surprised tone before granting me entrance.

I walked as silently as possible up the gravel driveway of the Manor. When I finally reached the large mahogany doors, I took another deep breath and knocked. I had only knocked once before the door was opened by a house elf.

"What can Dawnna do for you, Sir?" The small house elf said, looking fearfully up at me.

I gave her a small smile. "Tell your Master and Mistress that Hadrius has arrived."

"I will do so right away, Lord Hadrius! It is wonderful to have you back!" She said excitedly before disappearing with a pop.

I stepped inside and waited for a moment, my hypersensitive hearing picking up shouts of, "WHAT??!!" and "He is??!" from the drawing room. The next thing I heard was rushed footsteps coming in my general direction, echoing in the large house. When I saw my godfather and godmothers, I gave them a small, sad smile. Cissa had tears falling down her face, Bella looked relieved, and Lucius's eyes looked a little misty.

We stood in the foyer, watching each other carefully. My Aunt Cissa was the first to break the silence.

She rushed up and hugged me tightly. "Oh Hadrius, we missed you so. Where on earth have you been? What happened to you?!"

"It's a bit of a long story, but I have time to spare. I do have one question though."

"Yes, anything."

"Do you know where my father is?"

All three of my godparents nodded. Narcissa whispered, "Follow us," Before walking back towards the drawing room.

I followed without question. Silent and resigned, I didn't know what to do. These people, my family, had no idea what -who- I'd been the last twelve years. I was so scared to see their reactions, as I'd also been their Lord's enemy #1. We entered the drawing room, where many people lounged about. Some I recognized as Malfoy -Draco's- friends. Others I recognized as Death Eaters. There was a woman with long, elegantly woven brown hair, and coffee-coloured skin -the same colour as mine- resting in the arms of a man with short black hair and sharp facial features. When we walked in, everyone stopped talking and stared. I stared back, but only at the cuddling couple. In the back of my mind, I knew who they were. My parents

"Father. Mother." I breathed, tears pricking the corners of my eyes.

They stood in unison. "My son," My mother, Silena, whispered.

We ran towards each other, crashing against one another in a giant hug. The three of us collapsed in a heap on the carpeted drawing room floor, tears of happiness and relief falling down our cheeks. My wings instinctively wrapped around them, and I felt another, larger, feathered pair wrap around mine.

"You're here. You're safe," My father whispered.

I simply nodded in reply.

After we soaked in the feeling of being a family again, we stood up, and my father held me at arm's length as if checking me for injuries. He had wings as well, but as mentioned before, his were feathered. The only similarity was that his soft, black feathers had the same shimmering iridescence as my scales.

"Where have you been?" He asked softly, "What happened?"

"We should sit down for this," I said.

We did, my parents sitting on the couch they were before, and I sat on a chair across from them. It took me a few minutes to get situated with my wings, but I did. I looked at them and began my tale.

"When I was four, Mal- er, Draco and I were playing in the garden of the Riddle Manor, and a man descended upon us. Albus Dumbledore said to me, 'You will be my new Harry Potter. The first one was killed.' He blocked my memories of you all, and he obliviated M-Draco. He placed glamours onto me to look like the old Potter and blocked most of my magic. I lived with his abusive aunt, uncle and cousin for years, acting as their personal slave. They beat me and treated me like shit the entire time. I came into my Inheritance last night and went to Gringotts this morning where I found out about all of the lies I was told."

My mother brought a hand up to her mouth, though it did nothing to hide the sob that escaped. My father simply stood up, strode over to me, and gave me a hug.

"We were so worried about you. We- I'm grateful you're back. That you found your way home." he whispered in my ear.

"Mother, Father, what's going on? I heard shouting from upstairs-" A beautiful blonde boy walked into the drawing room and stopped, staring at me. I felt a tug in my heart and I knew: my mate.

My father gave me a knowing look and I glared back. I stood up and walked over to Draco, where I was about a head taller than him. With much willpower, I managed to glance down at him without blushing. The animal inside of me begged to kiss him, but I held it back.

"Hello, I don't believe we've met," He said, holding a hand out, not unlike the way he did when we were in First Year. "I'm Draco Malfoy."

I gave him a small smile and took his hand. "I'm Hadrius Riddle. You can call me Hadri."

Draco stumbled back a couple of steps, letting go of my hand, much to the dismay of the animal. "H-Hadri- You're back?!" He gasped.

A shy smile was my response. The next thing I knew, his arms were wrapped around my waist and he was squeezing me as tightly as he could. I chuckled and ran a hand through his hair.

"I thought I lost you, twelve years ago," He mumbled into my chest. "My best friend, Hadrius."

"I'm sorry I forgot you," I whispered back. "I'm sorry I didn't accept your friendship. I didn't know who I was."

Draco looked up at me, shock painting a pained expression across his face. "You-You were Potter?"

"Sadly, yes. But hey, I'm not anymore, yes?" I said gently, brushing a bit of his fringe gently out of his eyes.

He smiled and nodded, letting go of me. "Come! I want to show what's changed in twelve years!"

Draco grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room, a grin making his face light up.
