you squint your eyes closed again as soon as you open them,the outside light seeping into your vision, its a white winter.
you look to your left to see your jungkookie wrapped up in the many blankets you provided him with.
you lay still in your bed feeling relaxed and calm for the first time in about a month. but your time thinking didn't last long.
you hear shifting to your side and a little groan.
"m-mommy"
you look to the left and see two sleepy eyes peaking out from underneath the duvet.
"yes baby?"
you caressed his messy hair as he snuggled closer into your side.
"im cold"
you cooed at his cuteness before sliding down back into the blankets.
"come here"
you open your arms and he shuffles his body forward embracing you.
he wraps his arms around your small waist and hugs you tightly.
you both stay in that position until he looks out of the window through the gaps in the blinds.
"its snowing!"
he shouts excitingly and jumps out of your arms, dashing towards the window.
"comee backk~"
you whine, still tired from the lack of sleep you have.
maybe staying up to finish that disney movie wasn't quite a good idea. at least not for you since jungkook is energetic and eager to go outside and play in the snow were as you just want to return to cosy dream land.
"get up mommy! look! its snowing outside!"
he jumps back onto the bed and shakes you roughly making you playfully swat his hands away.
"go awaaayy"
you giggle as he lays on top of your sleepy figure,his head snuggling into the crook of your neck and his thighs on either side of your waist.
"lets go play outside!" he whispers keen to play in the snow.
"okay baby. you go get dressed while i make breakfast."
with one swift motion he darts towards the bathroom grabbing his toothbrush and sloppily putting toothpaste on top.
you climb out of your comfy sheets and make your way downstairs.
as your feet hit the tiles of the kitchen floor you remember to switch the heating on to gradually warm up your apartment.
you prepare some waffles with syrup and place the plates of food onto the eating table.
"kookie!"
you sit down on your chair and start to devour the tasty meal you made, and by made i mean putting ready made waffles into the toaster.
you hear fumbling coming down the stairs and then little feet pattering across the kitchen floor.
he climbs onto the seat in-front of you.
"eat up baby, you going to need a lot of energy for playing in the snow."
you pass him a fork and knife before gently ruffling his hair.
"thank you for the meal mommy."

you scoop up some snow in your righthand and cup it tightly, ready to aim at the boy who keeps throwing huge snowballs towards your face.
you lock eyes with your target and launch your ball of snow...only to completely miss and land in the opposite direction.
you weren't good at throwing.who's judging?
splat!
another heap of snow came crashing into your face.
"this is it jungkook! I'm gonna get ya!"
you run at full speed towards the boy taking him by surprise as he was too busy laughing at you covered in snow.
you leap towards him pushing him and you over on to the ground.
he giggles and starts to flap his arms and legs around making a snow-angel.
you copy him and do the same movement.
you both stand up and admire each others work.

After spending a whole day out in the snow you and jungkook return back into the apartment shivering and worn out.
"m-mommy I'm f-freezing."
he clings onto you and digs his face into your fluffy coat.
"baby lets go upstairs to change into warm pjs and then we can watch a movie."
he lifts his head up still clinging onto you.
"a-and snuggle?"
you let out a small chuckle and peck his cold lips.
"yes baby.and snuggle."
