*THE FIRST DAY*

(Y/N) screamed as she entered the Big Brother House, her childhood dream had come true. Her eyes scanned over the rooms, noticing the rock wall in the living room. She then pushed up her glasses as she turned around to start to greet ppl.

"Hi I'm (Y/N)." She said hugging a blonde guy who had glasses on. (Y/N) was glad that she wasn't the only person with glasses on tonight. She thought they made her look like a nerd but she preferred them to contacts.

"I'm Scottie." He said, his cover shaking a little bit as he looked at (Y/N). She was cute and short and her big glasses made him smile.

*CURRENT TIME*

"There's no way!" (Y/N) exclaimed, sitting opposite of Scottie in the lounge room.

"Of course there is! Have you so him?" Scottie said, his voice slight raised. His eyes were widened.

Hayleigh and Brett then entered the room, both confused as to why (Y/N) and Scottie were yelling at each other. Usually the two would spend hours talking about anything and evening. They talked about tv shows, comics and superhero's.

"What are you guys arguing about now?" Brett asked looking between the two.

(Y/N) sighed heavily, "He thinks that Superman could take down Green Arrow, isn't that ridiculous?" She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"You can't honestly tell me that you believe that a man with a bow and arrows can take down an alien?" Scottie scuffed, leaning forward so that his elbows were on his knees. He then turned to look at Hayleigh and Brett, "You tell her." Scottie said pointing at (Y/N) who was currently pouting and wouldn't look at him.

Brett didn't say anything, he just stood there grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Before (Y/N) and Scottie could even protest Brett took Hayleigh by the arm and yanked her out of the room. He then slammed the door shut, jamming it so that they couldn't leave.

(Y/N) and Scottie both jumped from where they were sitting and stared pounding on the door, "Brett! Brett! Let us out!" Scottie said, pushing and pulling on the door. But it wouldn't budge either way.

"Not happening until you tow address the elephant in the room." Brett yelled from the other side of the door. He then began laughing at his own brain, gosh he was such a genius.

"You're evil." Hayleigh said, hitting Brett in the chest with a smile across her face. It wasn't a big secret that the whole house thought that (Y/N) and Scottie should be together. The way they interacted together, they would spent countless hours just sitting and talking or swimming or cooking. Either way it seemed as if they were inseparable.

"They'll thank me later." Brett said as they moved to the kitchen. He had been scheming for the past week, waiting for them to be in a room together so he could lock them in together. Maybe that would give them time to talk about how they felt.

"I can't believe he just locked us in here." Scottie said, pushing his glasses up his face and looking over at (Y/N). He then pushed his hair out of his face.

Y/N) tilted her head and looked at him, "What did he even mean by 'elephant in the room'?" She asked, sitting back down where she had been before, this time pulling a blanket over her legs and a pillow to her chest.

Scottie froze, his back still to (Y/N) as he faces the door. He then remembered a conversation he and Brett had about a week ago. Scottie had told Brett just how much he liked spending time with (Y/N) and how he wanted to tell her that he liked her but wasn't sure.

"Scottie?" (Y/N) asked, trying to lean forward so that she could see his face. When he finally turned to look at her, unfrozen, she smiled. "You've been standing there staring for a while. Didn't you hear my question?" She asked him, unsure if he knew what Brett was referring to.

He ran his hand over his hair with a huff, "Yeah I heard you." Scottie said, taking a seat next to her this time instead of across.

"Well do you know why he just locked us in here?" (Y/N) asked again, looking down at Scottie's hands which seemed to be shaking. "Scottie if I did something to upset you and this is how you wanted to tell me-"

"Gosh (Y/N) no!" Scottie explained, reaching out to grab her hands. Then realizing what he had done Scottie quickly let go to of her hands. "You didn't do anything to upset me (Y/N)." He said, pushing back and looking away from her.

(Y/N) narrowed her eyes, "Then why are you acting so weird and why did Brett lock us in here?" She asked him, mocking closer to him. It wasn't unusual for Scottie to act awkward but this level of awkwardness was odd.

"Because I like you alright?" Scottie said, standing up and throwing his arms out. "I'm acting weird and Brett locked us in here because I like you." His breathing was deep as he tried to read her face, (Y/N) was looking up at him in complete shock. Scottie felt like he was going to be sick and his head was light.

(Y/N) blinked, trying to figure out what she was going to say to him. "Scottie sit." She asked him quietly, he looked skeptical for a second. "Come on Scottie." She said to him. Scottie then moved to sit across from her again, this time his eyes fixed on his own hands instead of her face.

She wasn't sure what to say. It was obvious to (Y/N) that Scottie didn't have much experience with girls, not that she had a lot of relationship experience either. She didn't want to say something that would upset him or scare him off.

"Okay so you like me." (Y/N) said while holding his hands, neither one of them looking at the other. They were both too scared to look at the others face. "And I like you too." (Y/N) mumbled, still looking down at Scotties hands.

This admission scared Scottie, his whole body seemed to jump and his eyes became glued to her face. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to say in response to that. It wasn't like he could just tell her he liked her, she already knew that.

"I'm really sorry that I'm being so-"

"Scottie." (Y/N) said, moving a hand to his face. "You don't have to apologize to me." She told him in a small voice.

"I'm-" Scottie paused when he realized he almost apologized. "So what now?" He asked her, looking over at her with a nervous glance.

"Now we get Brett to let us out and we spend more time together." (Y/N) admitted, playing with Scottie's fingers.

The two then rose from their spots in the lounge room, hands wrapped around each other. (Y/N) was leaning into Scottie's side. This time it was different, she knew that he liked her so she didn't have to feel awkward when she stood so close to him.

"But Superman could still beat Green Arrow any day." Scottie pointed out.
