Crossing the Line Continues

Lunch Date

Yu Hao dragged Zhen Wen away from the seniors. He saw the confusion in his best friend eyes and he didn't want to talk about his emotions around the upperclassmen.

Stopping on the stair (that seems to be their regular meeting place) Yu Hao  tried to explain to them what has been going on the last couple of days.

“Yu Hao you and the manager. How? When?”

“I don’t know. A lot has happened since last week. It was around the time you were so happy with Zhen Wu finally.  I couldn’t ruin that with all of my personal problem.”

“Was manager the reason you have been moping around and lifeless since the trip. “

“Yes. I confessed my feeling toward him and it didn’t go well.”

“Didn’t look to me like he didn’t reciprocate your feeling.” Zhen Wu said quietly behind his brother.

“He stopped training me and started to avoid me.  He wouldn’t even look at me and didn’t want me to talk to him.  I was miserable without him. His sister even confessed her feeling for me in front of him. “

“Qiu Qian Ru confessed to you. In front of her older brother. I knew she liked you. She was always fawning all over you and trying to do stuff for you. It was kind of cute.” Zhen Wen playful punched his arm.  

Zhen Wu put his arms on Zhen Wen shoulder and said, “I thought for a second you like her.”

“Me like Qiu Qian Ru. I’ve only ever like one person.” The brothers share a secret look before turning back around and Zhen Wen lean back on Zhen Wu.  “Wow bro you did have a rough time. I’m sorry I was so wrapped up in my own world to notice what was going on with you.”

“Don’t be.  That’s why I didn’t tell you.  It was good to see you two getting along. There were just sometimes you guys frustrated me.  I was miserable and you guys were so cute I wanted to punch something.”

“I’m still confused.  What can you possibly see in him?  Manager always has such a serious face as if he forgot what a smile is.  He is always so goody goody. Don't fight, go to class, and study hard. Did I also forget bossy as hell.”

“He smiles so rarely that when you do see him smile you cherish it all the more and be happy that you are the one that made him do it.    Yes he is serious about school but that is what make him so adorable when he lecture you about what’s right and wrong.”

“Are we talking about the same person here?” Zhen Wen looked at his brother for confirmation. Zhen Wu shrugs his shoulders and nod at the same time.

“You guys just don’t know.  Zi Xuan cares more about everyone else around him then he does about his own health.  It pisses me off something that he thinks about himself last. So it will be my job to think about him first since he doesn’t.”

“Wow, you do got it bad.  I thought I would never see the day that someone goes above your mother on the ‘who you care” for Yu Hao scale.”

“Zi Xuan isn’t above my mom on the scale.  They are tied at the top.”

“Right we get it Mamma’s boy.”

“I’m not a mamma’s boy. I just know who’s most important to me.  You two are right under them. I swear.”

“Whatever so that smile hasn’t left your face since we got to school.  Isn’t being in love great.”

“I was nervous about seeing him today and worried that he changed his mind and had second thoughts.     But then he said I Missed you in that intense voice of his and I needed to touch him and wanted to kiss him so badly like in my dream.”
