Foxy stood behind the cage. He was ready to fight in his last few battles of the Rumbledome. He had made it to the elite 8. A big accomplishment. Foxy had only ever made it up to the Elite 8 before his training. He would take the small prize and drop out after, every single time. This was new territory for him. New Demons. New competition. But Foxy had something he hadn't really ever had before.
Confidence.
Hope.
A reason to fight.
A new weapon.
Things were looking good and Foxy was up to whatever challenge came next. He definitely knew these creatures would be far worse than any others he'd ever faced.
The gates began to creek and the crowd erupted in cheering. Foxy knew this wasn't just about him anymore. It was about Seikatsu too and his legacy.
Foxy entered the ring and heard the announcer call out his name.
"And Now! Introducing, Foxy!"
The crowd Boo'd. They only ever liked the most blood thirsty demon. Foxy would soon meet one of them.
The ground shook across from him as another gate opened.
"And Now! Ladies and Gentlemen! Put your hands together for Foxy's opponent, BloodRain!"
Out stepped a large demon. He crawled out on all fours and then stood up, he was much larger than Foxy. Foxy was about the size of just one of his legs. The demon was ripped and full of muscles. Near his head he had only a mouth for a face.
Foxy's eyes narrowed as he noticed the demon began to lock position on him. It got back on all fours and thrust its leg back to begin a charge. Then it took off. Galloping toward Foxy. Foxy stood there. He glanced down at his sword and smirked. Just as the demon approached him Foxy leaped over him and leaned his head and arms back, thrusting his Katana in the demon's back as it then followed Foxy's body with his momentum. The sword, stabbed in the demon's back, cut clean down the entire spine. Foxy landed with his sword in hand. BloodRain let out a screech. The crowd began to gasp and wonder as to why this "child" hadn't already died on the first charge. The controversy began to settle as the demon began to charge again. Its mouth was wide open, dripping with Silvia. Foxy almost thought this was too easy. He knew a way to defeat him but it would be extremely risky. BloodRain charged and time seemed to slow down in Foxy's mind as he glanced down once again to Seikatsu.
"This is for you Sensei." Foxy murmured.
"Don't just do it for me... do it for yourself too." The sword seemed to reply with a laugh.
Foxy hesitated at the voice but soon smiled. The demon rushed at him but Foxy dove straight into BloodRain's mouth. He twirled like a drill, going straight through him like a knife cutting butter. The demon let out one last cry as Foxy stood up. Covered in guts, he watched as the crowd gasped in disbelief. Foxy just smiled as he knew he was victorious. There was some booing as Foxy walked off the arena but he didn't care. He just knew he was one step closer to what Seikatsu saw in him.

Soon the Final Four was set. It was the Semi-Finals. Foxy stood once again in his holding cell. He stared at himself in the cracked mirror before him. The mirror divided his face with a large crack slashing across his face and over his left eye. Foxy sat down on the cold metal floor. It reminded him of his warehouse. It reminded him of how far he had come. He couldn't imagine himself getting out of this place. The dome, the city, it was all he'd ever known. He soon heard another bell. It was time for the Semi-Finals. Foxy walked out into the arena circle as they called his name once again. This time his name was followed by cheering. It wasn't the whole area but it was at least a quarter of it. Foxy smiled.

"Someone has to root for the underdog." he laughed to himself.

Foxy then waited for his opponent to be announced. He had a chill run up his spine.  He could feel the ground rumble as the demon stomped toward the arena. He then saw the cage open and out came what seemed to be a cyclops. He was about the size of the demons he had came upon the day he met Seikatsu.

"Wait, no way." Foxy murmured.

It was one of the demons from that day. His one eye made eye contact with Foxy. It then narrowed. He had made the same realization as Foxy had.

"You... my friend is dead because of you." It snarled.

Foxy gulped and stared at the demon but then back at himself.

"It was his fault. I'm tired of being tossed around like trash by demons like you. Demons who kill FOR FUN. I don't care if he was your friend. He was evil... and so are you." Foxy said.

"Look in the mirror Fox. How'd you get here huh?" The Cyclops replied.

"You killed just as many as I did. What makes us any different..." it reinforced.

Foxy stood there, without an answer. He was right. Wasn't he?

As if right on cue his sword shimmered and Foxy remembered.

"No. I have a cause. YOU DON'T. YOU GO AROUND TO KILL JUST TO DO IT. I KILL TO SURVIVE. TO SURVIVE! DO YOU HEAR ME? I'VE HAD IT. SO IF I WERE YOU, I'D MAKE THIS EASY ON YOURSELF AND JUST FORFIT." Foxy stated in anger.

The Cyclops smirked and charged. Foxy ran toward him as well. The Cyclops got close enough and swung his club down hard but in a short amount of time, Foxy dived under his legs with momentum. He stood and sliced an "X" right in his lower back. The Cyclops arched his back in pain and swung around his leg. His leg brushed against the sand like floor and sent Foxy flying full force at the metallic wall. Foxy hit it with a loud thud and blacked out for 10 seconds as blood flooded out of his mouth. Foxy spat out the remaining blood and charged once again. He did the same thing once again. Foxy waited to dive last minute as the Cyclops swung and brung his foot around again but this time Foxy jumped onto his heal and then onto his shoulders. Foxy shoved his katana right into the cyclops' shoulder blade. The Cyclops lurched forward and Foxy held onto his sword, dangling in the air. The Cyclops rushed his hand over to Foxy and snatched him up. He was unable to move and his only weapon was left in the Cyclops' shoulder. The Monster chuckled and turned toward the crowd in triumph.

"THIS IS FOR ALL OF YOU HUMANOIDS WHO THINK YOU STAND A CHANCE. NEWSFLASH, YOU DON'T. LET THIS BOY BE A LESSON TO YOU ALL. BEING A "HERO" WILL GET YOU KILLED. ANYTHING YOU DO WILL GET YOU KILLED. IF YOU DON'T GIVE US WHAT WE WANT, WHEN WE WANT IT, THIS WILL BE YOU."

With that, he chucked Foxy against the wall once again at full force.

Foxy struggled to stand or see for that matter. His vision was getting blurry and his muscles ached. He laid there, motionless. He could only move his fingers till he could hear Seikatsu in his head once more.

"You are weak but yet you are strong. Where your body fails, your mind carries you."

Foxy knew what he meant only in that moment. Foxy then felt the sun shine on his beat down body and could here murmurs of motivation from Humanoids. He looked back and decided he wasn't about to back down.

"No-t whe-n I'm th-i-s clos-e" He mumbled.

Foxy shook and wobbled as he finally found his way to stand. The Crowd roared in excitement. The Cyclops soon caught on and turned around.

"Stay down." The Cyclops rumbled.

Foxy spat out a little more blood and shook his head.

"Be that way... AND GET YOURSELF KILLED!" He laughed.

The Cyclops charged him from the other side of the arena. Foxy stood his ground and held his arms out to his sides as he closed his eyes. He began to feel a surge of energy as he slowly started floating off of the ground.

The Crowd was dead silent as a golden light surrounded Foxy.  The Cyclops even stopped in his tracks to witness the spectral.

Foxy felt a wave of power surge through his veins and continue to build as the light got brighter and brighter. Foxy then released a beam so large and so bright it struck the Cyclops down and blinded all the spectators. Foxy then slowly floated down and soon collapsed. His began to lose his line of vision and saw a pile of dust before him and his sword right in the middle of it as he blacked out.
