Ash's POV

I was walking around Lumiose city with a dark cloak on concealing my features. Everywhere I went I was met with horrified expressions, as I was known as The Ghost of Kalos.

Everybody either quickly turned away or stared. I was used to it though. I mean I did live this way for most of my life.

I turned a corner and arrived at my destination. standing in front of me was the famous champion of Kalos, Diantha. She looked straight at me as I walked closer. I lifted my cloak off of my head and stared at her with the same cold eyes I gained three years ago.

"So you must Ghost of Kalos right?".

 I just nodded slightly.

"Ok.... well lets get going then"  she turned and walked toward the school known as the Kalos Battle Academy. My mind was at a loss as I stared up at the massive series of buildings in front of me.

She led me inside and we were met with a crowd of students. One small part of me held hope for the future ahead. I just hope it isn't a repeat of the last time I was in civilization. I ended up hurting someone close to me and it shattered my heart rendering me into what I was today. cold and unforgiving even though I was already rendered into a ghost when I was seven, the incident three years ago sent me off the deep end.

Diantha finally stopped at a door leading toward the battle field. She opened it and motioned for me to go through. I stepped through the door and looked around.

There was a very large crowd waiting quietly and as soon as I stepped through the door all eyes were on me. I turned around and realized I was standing in the battlers entrance.

Diantha gave me a thumbs up and closed the door. I grimaced under my hood 'pathetic.' I turned around and walked out to the battler's box.

Right then another trainer came out and walked over to his box. "Took ya long enough, did your pathetic family forget to buy you clothing?"

. I remained silent. "Are you ignoring me punk?!" He shouted.

I continued to be silent. "FINE GO AGGRON!!!!" he threw an ultra ball revealing a very tall armored pokemon which looked well trained. I smirked underneath my mask and hood.

I threw a pokeball into the stadium which revealed a flaming monkey pokemon with a crown of flames atop its head. "INFERNAPE!!" It roared signaling it was ready for battle.

The trainer in front of me hesitated as the ref started the match. I took that opportunity and swiped my arm to the left. Infernape nodded and smiled as it vanished due to its overwhelming speed.

The trainer was looking everywhere just as Infernape reappeared in front of Aggron's face and threw two consecutive Mach punches with each hand causing Aggron to fly at blinding speed into the wall behind the trainer.

The wind from the explosion of the wall caused the trainer to fly forwards as I returned my infernape.

His Aggron was two feet into the outer wall out cold.

Once they saw the state Aggron was in everybody around the stadium started to recognize my cloak. I turned and started to walk out with a faint smile.

The trainer slowly got up "Wait!!" he shouted. I turned slightly "Whats your name!!"

I sighed "Ash...... Ketchum"
