Ash's Pov
*BEEP BEEP BEEP* I growled and slammed my hand over the alarm clock smashing it into pieces. I smiled "Thats better" and rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. Though someone came in and I mentally facepalmed. 'Looks like I wont be able to sleep in today' I thought as May screamed at me for breaking the alarm clock. I sat up and looked at her and sweatdropped "Uhh May, alarm clocks are cheap" I said trying to calm her down.
"DONT YOU 'Alarm clocks are cheap' ME YOU IMPUDENT-" I got up and put on a pair of jeans and a white jacket. I slipped on a pair of Boots. completely tuning her out. I walked straight past her and down the stairs. I kept walking despite the questions being asked to me. I got to the door and I was stopped by Dawn. "ASH!!!!" I turned to her. "Uhhh, T-Thanks for yesterday" I smiled "No problem, I seriously hate guys like that" I said with a slight tint of sadness. She looked at me confused. I looked at her, "Oh I only told May and Serena huh?" I asked myself. "Well long story short I watched my Dad kill my Mother in cold blood when I was little" I stated flatly. Dawn's eyes widened in complete shock. "Thats why whenever I see a guy beating on a girl I go into a slight rage, and Yes I did see what happened behind the school yesterday. He dropkicked you then kept kicking you while you were on the ground screaming."
She started to cry. I brought her in for a hug. She sobbed into my shoulder "Like I told May, dont cry it reminds me too much of that day and frankly I hate seeing girls cry" I said softly. She looked up at me and smiled "Sometimes I dont get you Ash" she said with a soft laugh. I looked at her confused. "You act so cold toward others but when you get around us you are a completely different person" she explained. I smiled "Maybe thats because you four are what I needed to change" I replied with a warm smile. She blushed a light shade of red and pulled away from the hug. "Anyways I'm heading out" I said looking at my phone. "HOLD IT MISTER" May shouted from the stairs. I looked up with a bemused expression. She stormed toward me until she was inches away from me. "where do you think you are going?" she asked a little pissed. I scoffed "Where do you think shorty?" I replied with a slight venomous tint to my voice.
She backed away I looked at Dawn "I guess you three were what you needed, but this one clearly doesnt care too much cause she's hating on me for breaking the damn alarm clock, when I'm going to buy a better one for her" I said coldly. With that I turned and walked out of the dormitory. Dawn looked at May "Uhh May He literally just got done telling me how much we changed him for the better, including you. Why the hell did you do that?" she said in annoyance.
May looked at her and all she said was "Hmmph" and walked away up to her room.
I walked in silence toward the boutique couture in Lumiose. When I reached my destination I looked up 'Well My original plan for today is still in affect' I thought with and added sigh.
I walked in and the lady at the counter saw me and walked over. "Sir this is the Lad-" I cut her off "Yes I know I'm buying for few friends." I stated cold as ice. She shivered at my tone and hastily lifted her arm "Well take your time" she said sheepishly. I walked around looking at the different dresses.I ended up at a counter with glass over the top, I looked inside and saw a straight gold alarm clock, I sweatdropped 'Really a solid gold alarm clock,well I guess I cant break it' I thought while motioning for the lady at the counter. "I'd like to get this so put it up at the counter" I said flatly. She nodded and took it out of the glass case and put it up at the register. I kept walking around. I came across a beautiful Pink dress with a pure white collar sporting three red bows across the left shoulder. on the waist was a series of hemming in the colors of red and yellow. and on the bottom was a dark pink stripe. I smiled 'Dawn would love this' I thought as I picked it up. I found a matching set of pure white gloves that reached up to the elbow, and a choker with a red bow on it. (For those of you who dont know Its one of Dawn's contest dresses from the show)
I kept looking around and found something I thought Misty would absolutely adore. It was a light pink Kimono with red flowers scattered across the fabric. It was hemmed in a beautiful array of pinks purples and reds. I grabbed it and picked up a matching pair of sandals.
I then came across a stunning strapless red and orange ball gown, It had a red bow on the waist and Burnt orange frills going down the length of the dress cutting across to the right revealing the orange fabric underneath the red. I smiled and thought 'this one has Serena written all over it' while picking it up and finding a matching set of orange white gloves that went up to her wrists.
I kept looking for about thirty more minutes until i came across the final dress, It was a white Arab style two piece dress. with a matching white veil that flowed out behind it down to the waist with a saphire jewel seated in a gold crown around the top of the veil. The top part of the dress was a pure white crop top that had a heart hemmed onto the front. and had sequin patterns around it. the bottom part was a long white skirt that reached the ground. I smiled and thought 'and finally May's dress' as I picked it up and went toward the counter. I laid the dresses down and the lady looked them over. She looked at me in shock "Sir this is going to be a total of 200,500 pokedollars per dress, and the alarm clock is worth 500k on its own!!"
"Dont worry about that just ring it up for me" I said flatly. She rung it up quickly and looked at me "The total is 1,100,200 pokedollars" She said with a look of fear in her eyes. I sighed and pulled out my pokedex. I swiped it across the payment slot and paid for it. She looked down at my info and gasped "How do you have so much money!!" I rolled my eyes "It's called Tournaments and Leagues" I explained bemused. I grabbed the bags and walked out and toward the jewelry shop.
When I got there I walked in and the Jeweler looked at me "Ahh Ash good to see you again" I smiled 'its good to see you again too Cilan."
"So whats brought you here today with four bags from the boutique across the street?" he asked with a smile. I rolled my eyes "Well Gary backstabbed me and put me in an All girls dorm in Vaniville. So I'm buying 'gifts' for the four girls I'm currently living with, because frankly they are changing me. I dont know how but they are" I explained with a defeated sigh.
He smiled "well so you ended up with the Evergarden Dorm right?" He asked. I looked at him in shock "Y-Yeah" He smiled and put a finger to his chin "Hmmm Misty, May, Dawn, and Serena" He said to himself while I tried to process the fact that my long time friend knew them. He then smiled and looked at me "I've got just the thing" he said as he went into the back. He came back out a few moments later with a set of four rings. I took one good look at them and smiled. They were sterling silver rings with diamonds set into the top, each with a different jewel in the middle of the head setting. Saphire, Aquamarine, Ruby, and Garnet. "I will take those" I said with a huge grin plastered to my face. Cilan laughed and handed them to me "Uhh dont i have to pay for these?" I asked confused. He leaned in closer "I'm giving them to you cause I know that boutique costs a fortune, just dont tell anyone" He whispered.
I smiled "Thanks bro you are such a big help" I said with a smile. He nodded "Ok now skidat, you have four girls waiting for you" He said while pushing me out the front doors. I stood outside and smiled 'Those Four are in for one Helluva surprise'
