Chapter 8

Third Person's POV

The next morning, Joohyun woke up extra early. Why? She want to finish her classes as soon as possible to be able to meet Joshua at the café.

"Honey, you're not gonna eat breakfast?" Her mom asked. The lass just shook her head before going out of their house.

She quickly went to her car and drives to school. When she arrived, her bestfriend from junior high, Yoona, greeted her.

"Wow eonnie, you're so happy today. Is the day very special?" The younger teased. Joohyun on the other hand, just chuckled before answering and going to her classroom.

The morning went by pretty fast for Joohyun. Their teached dismissed them earlier than usual, probably because of the urgent meeting their principal announced earlier this morning.

She packed her things, ready to leave the school, when their professor instructed her to fix the papers in their faculty. Joohyun, being a generous student, obeyed what her professor said.

She quickly runs to the faculty room to start the task early. She don't want to miss her 'date' with an idol. She hurriedly fixed the papers according to their position. From Junior to Senior.

After a brief 30 minutes, she checked her wrist watch. '3:30, I still have time.' She thought. She quickly went out of the faculty and headed towards her car which is parked at the school gates.

She went in and started driving to the mall, where they will meet.

On the other hand, Joshua, who arrived early, waited for her. He ordered his 3rd cup of latté. He was about to leave when a certain girl wearing a black croptop, a high waisted shorts and some pair of white sneakers, hair tied neatly.

Joohyun went inside the café and spotted the male sitting and smiling at her. She smiled back. She approach the male and sits infront of him.

"Hi." Joohyun greeted, awkwardly. Joshua felt the tension, so he started the conversation.

"How was school? How was your day?" He asked. Joohyun smiled before replying, "School's fine. Sorry if I made you wait." She said while scratching her nape.

The male just chuckled before giving her the menu, which she gladly took. While the girl is busy choosing her drink, Joshua took the chance to scan her features. But was caught off guard when Joohyun put the menu down and stared back at him, smiling.

Heat rised up from his face, embarrassed. He cleared his throat before asking Joohyun her order.

"So, what did you get?" He asked.

"Hmm Vanilla latté." She replied. Joshua thought 'We had the same taste in drinks.'

"Oh really? Wow, we drink the same beverage." He chuckled.

The waiter went to their table to take their orders. Joohyun said hers. The younger looked at him.

"You didn't order?" She asked. Joshua shook his head before answering. "I already had 3 cups." He chuckled. Joohyun let out an 'Oh'.

"So tell me about yourself." Joshua asked......
