Chapter 13

Juhyeon's POV

Today, our class got suspended because of the sudden snow storm. I mean, I was about to take a shower when my mom knocked om the door and told me that the classes has been suspended. Wanna know where I ended? Of course, in my bed. Tucked in a thick blanket.

"Mom! Hurry! They'll will announce the winner!" I shouted. Me and my mom are just watching M-Countdown. It was Seventeen against The Boyz. I mean, I like The Boyz, but I like my boy.

My mom went in the room with a bowl of buttered popcorn. She sitted infront of me and gave me the bowl. I took it and started digging in.

"And the winner, with 5078 votes.......SEVENTEEN!" I shouted as they announced Seventeen as the winner. Mom's face was in shocked since we did a bet and she told me that The Boyz will be the winner.

"Oh dammit. What do you want, champ?" She asked me. I clapped my hands before telling her what I want.

"I want two bowls of ice cream." I told her. She gave me a 'are you serious' look. I nodded at her and she sighed in defeat. She went out of my room, probably to get her wallet.

When she was out, I took my phone out and texted Joshua.

Congratulations! Keep up the hardwork! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

After texting him, I decided to get out of my room and went to the kitchen, where my mom is washing the bowl we used.

"Mom, I'm heading to the mall. Anything you want me to buy?" I asked her while wearing my thick fur coat and boots.

"Nah...by the way Joohyun," she said as she approaches me. She then took her credit card out of her wallet. "Here, buy the ice creams you wanted. Make sure it's only two buckets." She said before kissing my forehead and going back to her duties.

I went out of the house and went to the bus stop. The snow is still falling hard. I mean, I shouldn't be outside, but I need to treat Joshua since they won.

When the bus arrives, I quickly went inside and took a sit at the back. I look outside the window and observed the houses that are covered in snow.

I sighed as I lean my head on the window. I took my phone out and texted Joshua.

To: Joshuji
Meet me at the café.

I put it back my pocket and went back on observing.

When I arrived at the mall, I quickly went inside the café. I ordered our all time favorite Vanilla latté and went to sit on Joshua and I's favorite spot. But in my shock, he was already here. His back is facing me so he couldn't see me approaching from behind.

I slowly crept behind him, but suddenly he felt my presence.

"Stop creeping. It's creepy." He said and he turn to face me. I flash him a smile before sitting infront of him. I gave him the other latté and congratulated him.

"Here's for your fifth win!" I said and we cheered.

"Thank you." He said before drinking. I also drink too since I'm his copycat.

"Why did you decided to go out in a snow storm?" He asked while looking at me.

"Oh! Mom and I had a bet. If The Boyz wins the show, I'll do the dishes for a month. If you guys win, she'll treat me anything I want. Well guess what sweetie, you won and she has to treat me two buckets of ice cream. That's why I have her credit." I said laughing afterwards.

He just chuckled before telling me a story about their hardships as an idol. Of course, I attentively listen to him....
