Love That Can't See [Kokichi x Reader]

Chapter One- A Sudden Encounter

--Kokichi's POV (still)--

After the sudden encounter of (Y/N) and Kirumi knowing each other, Kirumi lead the three of us to our table, she also handed us the menus. Awkward silence... all you can hear is the loud and obnoxious voices of the other customers in the restaurant, as well as some chefs yelling at the other chefs because they 'didn't cook it right'. I silently chuckled and continued to look through the menus.

"Hey (Y/N), how do you know Kirumi? Were you two friends before?" Kaito asked as he looked up to see (Y/N),

"Hm? Oh, yeah. We used to go to the same school, before I had to move schools... what a pain though. I don't get to talk to her that much, but we try to keep in touch," (Y/N) claimed, "Didn't know that she works here... I feel kind of bad for her... I've met some of the chefs, and they were nice at first, but it turns out that they were the complete opposite... they yell at Kirumi from time to time, because she 'apparently' isn't doing her job right."

"Jeez... the chefs sound like assholes." I whispered to myself, (Y/N) heard me and chuckled at my joke. Kirumi came to our table, trying her best to get to every table as fast as possible. After the three of us gave our orders to Kirumi, she then rushed to the kitchen; giving the lead chef of the restaurant our orders. I glance over to one of the tables and I see a table being crowded by a group of people, there were a lot of flashing lights and lots of screaming. I overheard one of the questions,

"Miss Junko! Can you please give us a sneak peak of the new episode of Season 52?" they pleaded.

"Hmm... let me think," Junko puts on a fake, thinking look, "Nah..." after her response, lots of people were pleading for her to give them a sneak peak. I open my mouth to try and say something to (Y/N), but she's gone! Her and Kaito! I hesitantly got up my seat and went looking for them– I was pulled in the crowd of people that surrounded the table and I saw my idol, Junko Enoshima.

"Hello Miss Enoshima, nice to finally meet you in person." I hear a voice say, "Too bad I can't see... I can't see my idol's face." the crowd silenced. The photographers silently took photos of the current event.

"Hmm?" Junko looks over and there she was, (Y/N) and Kaito. "I'm sorry to hear that?"

"No need to apologise... I've gotten over it anyways." (Y/N) commented, trying to keep a straight face,

"Damn. You gave me such despair... nice job. What's your name, blindy?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)." She answered, oblivious of the scene she's causing.

"Sit down, let's take a damn photo together!" Junko said as she grabbed her arm and posed as the photographers took photos, "You're gonna be soooo popular... but uhh, not as popular as me though." Junko said with a smirk.

As the crowd followed Junko Enoshima to the exit, (Y/N) turned to Kaito, with the biggest smile on her face. Kirumi soon after walked up to her and congratulated her for the photo she had with Junko Enoshima... I'd do almost anything to get a photo with my idol. I walk up to the three and said,

"Wow (Y/N); congrats!" I said with a cheerful voice, a smile crept on my face, which I then covered with my left hand.

"Thanks..." her tone gets more and more quiet. I shrugged it off and we went to out table. The chef came up to us and gave us our food, they then yelled at Kirumi for being too slow. (Y/N) threateningly took the knife at the table and pointed it at the chef's throat. I almost choked on my food, so did Kaito." Don't talk to Kirumi like that..." she says as she placed the tip of the knife closer to the chef's neck.

"Why the fuck would you care? You don't know her–" (Y/N) slowly started to stab the chef's neck. They yell but was silenced by (Y/N) putting her hand over their mouth.

"You wouldn't want the restaurant to close would you? You wouldn't want you customers to think this is a horrible place to dine, would you?" she claimed, her tone gets darker and darker, and more threatening. My vision started to bluer the more I watch what happened. I felt as if my head exploded – all I could see is darkness.

My mind is aching in pain and I feel myself falling. My mind started to work again and the three of us all of a sudden, were outside and were at the park. Confused as I was, I asked what happened. Kaito told me that we were kicked out of the restaurant. And apparently, Kirumi was fired from her job. I frown at the sudden news and I bumped into someone. Both them and I fell to the floor; the person I bumped into gave a helping hand.

"O-Oh... Umm. I'm sorry! H-He-Here, let me h-help you." they say as they began to sweat. I took their hand and noticed that they were another student, a girl. Her eyes were red, she tied her hair into pigtails, and her hair ties were red. They were also holding their phone, that had a black and white bear on it.

"You know Danganronpa?" I asked the girl, curiosity in my voice,

"Oh! W-What a coincidence! I-I do know the show! I'm guessing you three know as well?" the girl asked as her eyes light up, (Y/N) responded with a nod and said,

"I'm (Y/N), the one on my left I think is Kaito and the one on my right is Kokichi."

"I-I'm Maki Harukawa... n-nice to meet you three." the girl stuttered out. I was surprised and relieved that there were people who like the show; not just us... Maki noticed (Y/N)'s eyes and her stance and shook a little. "Y-You' re blind! I-I mean... uhh, sorry if that came out wrong! I just–" she cut herself off as she helped (Y/N) walk. "I've been helping people who are blind and it's kind of an instinct of mine to help blind people right away...!" Maki said.

"O-Oh. Wow! Thank you for helping me? And, it's fine. People usually say that whenever I meet them."

Sorry for the cliff-hanger again! Uhh... anyways:

I have this sort of head canon that Maki – before she participated – was actually a child caretaker and one of the kids in the orphanage that she used to live in was blind, so she would visit twice a week so they could teach them. Also, I was thinking of changing the person that (Y/N), Kaito and Kokichi meet to my OC Kurimoo Gatsu. Like, I was thinking that before, Kurimoo and (Y/N) have met each other and that when they both participate in a killing game, they would already have a relationship together as friends.

I don't know... that was my head canon with Maki... sorry for the cliff-hanger again. ;;
