Why me?!

I only had a few minutes to get ready and go to school so as fast as I could I got inside the shower and got dressed rapidly. As I went downstairs a headache was developing.

"Aww crap. It had to be today of all days. I bet a fever is coming soon." I said to my self.

"Hey, young lady watch what you say in front of your sisters!" My mother said walking behind me with my two sisters still yawning wanting more sleep.

"Sorry ma'am," I said taking the last few steps from the stairs.

My father as always was already making coffee. My mother and father were the only ones who would be awake at this hour. As we finished our breakfast mother told us to be careful today for it will rain. Knowing her we decided to go back inside and get umbrellas. Our father was the one who drove my younger sisters to school while I walked to the bus stop. My father insisted on driving me to school but I decided not to since my best friend was on the bus. My father understood so I was on my way. The bus stop was not that far away just downhill from where I live. As I walked my mother honked from her car and rolled down the window.

"Les, I'm going to the hospital there's an emergency and I need to do a surgery I might be really late today as well as your father. Take care of your sisters and your self. Stay out of the woods you know the drill!" As she finished I saw her speed down the hill.

My parents were hard working. My father Joseph worked as a doctor at the hospital and my mother Maria worked as a military nurse and then transferred to a hospital with my father. You can say that my family is composed of medicine legacy. My goal is to become a neurosurgeon. Of course, I need to first finish high school and finish college. Anyways, the woods were of course really big but going downhill was almost like a little city hidden by the woods. This town is filled with many shops so that visitors can be attracted to. Surely they were attracted god almost every day new visitors come in to check the town and stay over a night or even more. I love this town I really do. The only thing that creeps me out is the mansion that is deep inside the woods. They go to gaze at that old mansion which I did not know about until I heard four families bought it. Though I'm not sure as to why they bought it. It was too ugly and very old. The outside was very damaged. The painting was cracking. Vines covered it going up and down all around the house. The windows were broken and half of it was coming down. It looked like a real haunted house, only this one looked far much creepier.  To get there you have to go through a tunnel that I for one would not do even if my life depended on it. I bet they are rich and just want to show off their wealth to the town people. Getting to the end of the hill I look up and see that the bus is already here. I fast walk and get on it. I take out my student card and slide it to pay my fare. I glance around looking for a small certain someone.
