As Lia said that, Lucas looked deep in thoughts. As if he was actually thinking about not being fake. Wow.
"Anyway, like i was saying, these girls are losers, you should do better, well everyones better then them." Dalila was trying to drag Cory away by a thread at this point.
"Stop being desperate, Dalila." Kyla had said in a awkward tone as she didn't get noticed by Dalila and doesn't want to be noticed.
"Who are you?" Dalila questioned Kyla, before immediately walking away, leaving Lucas hovering at our table still.
"Why don't you stay?" Cory asked Lucas, being nice. Everyone on the table glanced.
"Sure." Lucas squeezed in between me and Cory. The table went deadly silent.
"So, Cory, what are you into?" Lucas tried to lift the spirit.
"I do A-" Cory began a sentance before Dalila came over.
"Lucas, what on earth are you doing?" she chuckled, as if it was illegal!
Lucas got up in less than a second and stomped away, shortly followed by Dalila herself.
I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, Cory, what do you do?" I attempted to move on from that dilemma.
"I do art, i'm an artist." We were trying to listen close to Cory because of the draining sound of Dalila and Lucas arguing, which they do every lunch. "I'll show you some tomorrow." He said while the bell rang.
In mathematics, I could see Lucas glancing over at me in the corner of my eye, so i decided to look back. He shot the most innocent smile at me and we stared into each others eyes for a bit, me thinking of what life would be like if we were still friends, would i still be here with Lia and Kyla? A whole new life popped into my head, my friends, my family, but a boyfriend, which I've only had one before in 4th grade when me and Peter went out for a day before he broke up with me, resulting into Lucas standing up for me and punching him straight in the face. Peter gave me daisies and daffodils in forgiveness, I kindly accepted the handpicked flowers, but not the apology. Life was so good back then. But i came out of my daydream, still staring into Lucases pale eyes. Oh how i miss him.
Walking home from school, I was always alone, Lia and Kyla went to clubs, but i don't go to clubs because as soon as i get home i need to do a million things anyway, so thats kind of my club, a slave. But today was oddly different. It felt like someone was following me constantly, I kept looking behind to see a figure, but I thought it was my wild imagination playing with me like always, but it wasn't, for once. I heard footsteps running towards me, i started to feel very creeped out, my breathing get heavier and heavier.
"Boo!" a familiar voice -
