Chapter 9

Alissa's P.O.V

       Erika is a snake bitch... she is always flirting with Jake. I guess the last time I threatened her  wasn't enough. I said if jake stopped saying I was the love of his life... he was going to regret it. They both were. I am going to cheat on Jake... with his brother Logan. I told Erika not to mess with me or my man. I mean... she hasn't necessarily done anything directly, but she flirts with him and I was hoping when he said she wasn't important that she would quit... but she didn't. In fact, Jake is helping her finish moving in right now. I'm going to intrude.

Alissa: Hey Jake? Will you take me to the mall? I have to get a couple new things and return a sweater.

Jake: Alissa. I'm helping Erika move in right now. Can we go in a couple hours?

Alissa: No. I get it... you like her more than me. You thunk she is more important than me and want me to leave you guys alone. I totally understand...

Jake: Listen Alissa... I love you with all of my heart and more. But... I already said I would help Erika. And she isn't more important to me than you. You guys are both important to me just for different reasons. I don't want to have to choos between my assistant and all she has don for me and my girlfriend and the love of my life.

Erika: I know this isn't my convo... but Jake I think you should go. I don't want you guys to get in a fight.

Alissa: Thank you snake.

Jake: Alissa! She's not a snake.

Erika: Jake, it's fine. She thinks I'm taking you from her.

Alissa: ...

Jake: Alright Alissa... let's go.

Jake's P.O.V

    I can't believe Alissa called Erika a snake... and yet I went with her instead on helping Erika. I feel so bad for just leaving. After I practically begged Erika to let me help. She was just going to hire someone and she missed her opportunity because I said I would help. And now when we get home I have to help Alissa move in. I think I might have to fire Erika... I can't break up with Alissa, and they obviously don't like each other, or it's just Alissa doesn't like Erika. I just asked her not to quit and now I have to fire her. I can't do that to her. Alissa just has to get over herself.

Alissa's P.O.V

      Time to call Logan.

- OVER CALL -

Logan: Hello?

Alissa: Hey Logan. It's me, Alissa.

Logan: Oh hey Alissa. What's up?

Alissa: So, I don't know if this was just me but I thought we had a connection, and since Jake and I broke up... I was wondering if you wanted to hook up.

Logan: Really? You guys were so cute together. But I mean... why not. Where? We can do it at my place tonight.

Alissa: Sounds great. Oh, and don't tell Jake. I'll be there at 7:00.

Logan: See you then.
