Euphoria

Taehyung had always been fascinated by Jungkook. He loved everything about him, the way he poured his heart into every note, the way he practiced for hours on end until he got things right, the way he looked like he was in euphoria when he sang was simply beautiful.

He was beautiful.

Taehyung watched from the door of the practice room as Jungkook practiced his dance to 'Euphoria'. He moved his body with graceful fluidity that had the elder in awe. Hums escaped Jungkook's chapped lips to help him keep time and the beat of the music. Taehyung felt it coming, that one high note that has Jungkook gasping for breath, but always pulling it off.

He saw the younger open his mouth to take in a large breath, and then he let go. It was like an angel singing to the heavens, his voice was so beautiful.

The high note finished only too soon for the elder, and he let out a sigh as the breathless boy continued his dance. When the music stopped, Jungkook was panting, sweat coating his thin shirt allowing the elder to see Jungkook's sculpted back. Thats when Jungkook noticed him in the mirror, spinning around in embarrassment at being watched.

"H-Hyung, how l-long have you been there?" He asked, a cute blush begging to coat his cheeks

Taehyung smiled "Not long enough"

Jungkook looked down "H-How did I do?"

"Absolutely perfect" The elder said, a proud smile adoring his lips "It was flawless"

Jungkook shook his head "You're just saying that" he muttered "I can do better"

Taehyung frowned and leaned against the wall. He hated it when Jungkook would criticize himself, if only he could see what Taehyung saw. He watched in silence as Jungkook restarted the music, getting into his starting position and beginning once again.

The younger watched himself intently as he did his quick steps. He nearly stumbled, giving his hyung a mini heart attack, not that he knew. Jungkook growled and stopped the music, restarting it almost directly after. Jungkook practiced the steps over and over, not caring how tired he got.

His legs burned, his throat stung, and his lungs heaved. Jungkook stumbled again, this time unable to keep himself upright, and he fell. He hit the ground forcefully, grunting as his ribs crashed against the floor.

Taehyung ran to his side, terrified that the younger had hurt himself. Jungkook's eyes were closed and his breathing was long and shaky. He pulled the younger into his lap, earning him a sift whine from Jungkook. Taehyung reached for Jungkook's water bottle which had barely been drunk from and he held it to the younger's lips, coaxing him to take a drink.

"Baby come on, you've got to drink something" Taehyung said softly, the nickname coming out before he realized it

Jungkook noticed it and he blushed deeply but opened his mouth to take in some much needed water. He drank for a while before just lying in the elders lap, not caring for the slightly odd position they happened to be in.

After a few moments Jungkook sat up, missing the saddened look on his hyungs face. The younger stood on wobbly legs and went over to the speakers to restart the music. Taehyung jumped up immediately and went to Jungkook, wrapping his arms around his waist and gently pulling him away from his phone and speakers.

"Hyuuung" The younger whined, trying and failing to escape from Taehyung's grasp "Need to practice longer.."

Taehyung shook his head and led Jungkook to his practice bag, setting the boy down on the floor and leaning him against the wall. Jungkook watched with tired eyes as the elder unplugged his phone from the speakers and placed it in his pocket. Jungkook whined and made grabby hands, showing he wanted his phone, but once again Taehyung shook his head.
