After school
I was driving home and she was looking out the window, silently. I figured I had to break the silence between us. I turned off the radio and talked. "Hey, how was today?" "I think I wanna kill someone..." As much as I wanted to slam the breaks in the middle of the road in total shock that those words came out of her mouth, I kept my cool, well, the little cool I have now. "What!? Why!?" "This girl beat me up in the bathroom! She needs to pay for what she did!" That anger I had at Claude came back when she said she got beat up. Once we got to the apartment, I parked the car, got out and slammed the door, heated as ever.
