Why don't you move in?

(Mira's POV)

I felt reassured as I snuggled into Laxus' jumper and I could feel myself drifting off despite it only being 4:35pm.

"Mira?" Laxus said quietly.

"I'm awake.... kinda" I said still snuggled up in his chest.

"Come on get up before you fall asleep now and are unable to sleep later" he said, which was true, but I refused to move.

I didn't even move when Laxus stood up, taking the warmth of his jumper with him. I just remained lying on the bed curled up into a ball.

I just wanted to see what Laxus would do.

I heard him lightly chuckle but then I felt him pick me up bridal style and carry me through the house. I didn't know, or care, where he was taking me but I knew that as he pulled me into his warm jumper covered chest, his heart beat would lull me to sleep.

Just as I started to fall asleep I felt Laxus sit down with me being held like a baby in his arms. He then turned on the TV of which woke me up completely.

There is one thing you must know about me. You turn on a horror movie and I will not sleep until it's over even if I need to stay up 24/7.

I looked up at Laxus who just smirked knowing that I would not be falling asleep anytime soon and I stuck my tongue out at him in a teasing manner before turning away to look at the TV screen.

Laxus pulled me back so he could plant a kiss on my head before continuing to scroll through movies and I could feel myself blush but Laxus didn't see as I was still facing the TV.

I'm still taking in the fact that the guy I have liked since I was a rebellious teen is officially my boyfriend. I'm still internally screaming at every cute thing he does.

I watched Laxus scroll through movies on Netflix before deciding on Don't knock twice. I was immediately immersed as the movie started, as of the dark room thanks to the fact that it was winter, and I could feel Laxus' breath on the back of my neck as I shifted position to lean my back on his chest.

Roughly 3 hours later, thanks to pausing to get snacks, drinks and a blanket as well as getting a random call from Lisanna, we finished watching the movie.

"You should stay over tonight I don't want you going home on your own in the dark" Laxus said.

"You don't have to worry I'll be fine, I've walked home at night plenty of times before" I reassured him turning around to face him properly as I spoke.

"Yeah but I worry and I'd just prefer you to stay" he said and I swear he was sliiiiiiiightly pink but tried to hide it, shifting his gaze from my eyes.

"Ok I'll stay" I said kissing his cheek. "At this rate I'll end up moving in" I said with a laugh as I started to get up.

I was pulled back into Laxus' lap and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Why not? I mean seriously why, don't you move in?" He asked seriously. "I mean my house is big enough. You can stay with me in my room if you want but if not I have a really nice guest room that you could just decorate to your liking I mean if you want to move in but it's your choice and I'm not gonna force you-" I cut off his adorable rambling, placing my hands on either side of his face before landing my lips on his softly in a slow passionate kiss.

When we pulled away I kept my face close to his as we regained our breath.

"You always overthink things silly, I'd love to move in but only if you want me to" I said staring into his eyes as I did so.
