My Life

*Dan's POV*

I was sitting on my couch with my Skeleton Pooch Grim watching TV. Today wasn't a very fulfilling day Trayaurus is taking a break for the weekend from his inventions, Sparklez and Tourqedawg were out on a date, Stacy was doing some weird training thing with her dogs, Lizzie was doing a game program thing, Sky and his friends were doing battle training or something like that and Cassie just keeps emailing me asking to hangout with her. I mean its not like I don't like her but she just tries to hard its pretty obvious she wants to go out but I'm not really interested in her. She just isn't the one for me I'm not sure how to get that through her head, all I actually want is someone who is a kind hearted spirit who doesn't care if I'm handsome or rich. Just someone who cares about being with me even through hardship. So far I have yet to meet them I'm not saying Cassie is shallow but I'm pretty sure she only likes me for my looks. Plus she is pretty creepy to be honest not to be rude but she has had the tendency to stare at me when all of us are hanging out. Anyway me and Grim were just watching TV when Trayaurus came in and sat on the couch "you plan on doing anything today?" he said while looking at me with his emotionless face. "I'm not sure maybe just sit here wasting my day" I said jokingly sticking out my tongue, to which Grim happily barked in response "why don't you go outside your pale enough as it is" he said gesturing to my skin "and ruin my perfect complexion?!" I said in a playfully dramatic voice moving my hand over my face in a shocked expression. he snickered and went back to looking at the TV.

After a few minuets of silence my phone started buzzing, I picked it up to see it was a face chat with Sparklez and Tourqedawg "oh hey guys how did the date go?" I asked smiling "it went great and we were wondering if you wanted to check out this cool tomb site we found, we haven't seen the inside yet we wanted to explore it with the gang" Sparklez said excitedly "yeah it looks awesome" Tourqedawg added smiling "wow guys that sounds amazing! and checking out some ancient ruins would be better than wasting away on the couch" I said laughing a little bit "well then pack up your gear we goin to THE RUINS!" Sparklez yelled with excitement "heh hey Dan while we get ready can you ask Sky and his buddies? we already asked Stacy, Lizzie and Cassie and they already said yes" Tourqedawg asked while picking up a pickaxe and putting in a bag "sure thing buddy text me the coordinates" I said as I hung up and called Sky's face chat. As I waited for him to pick up i was just petting grims head until "HEYO!!!" I turned my head to my phone screen to see Sky he looked like he just got done with the battle training thing because he was pretty sweaty "Sup Sky how ya doin" I said grinning "great we just got done practicing our battle stances and techniques, wazzup with you?" he said while wiping the sweat off his face with a towel "nothing much, oh Tourqedawg and Sparklez wants to know if you guys wanted to come check out these ancient ruins they found" I said still petting Grim's head "hmmm let me ask the guys, HEY GUYS DO YOU WANT TO GO CHECK OUT SOME ANCIENT RUINS WITH THE OTHERS?!??!" he screamed comically looking in the other direction. I couldn't help but laugh a bit at this, I smiled when I heard the others say cool lets do it "yeah their in" he said smiling "ok man Tourquedawg is going to send us  the coordinates." "cya later" I said as they all yelled bye as I hung up. "You wanna come too buddy?" I said rubbing Grim's head to which he barked happily "ok buddy you can come with me" I said smiling "you wanna come Trayaurus you could do your science thing" I said while grinning "sure got nothing better to do could be fun" he said while shrugging. I got up and started to pack my bag once I was done I walked out the door with Trayaurus and Grim. Trayaurus had a bag about 3 times the size of mine "Jeez Trayaurus what is in that monster of a bag?" I said as we walked to meet the others "just some of my tools and things for mining, food, water, all that stuff" he said not looking away from where he was going "oh ok" I said looking back at the path. After about like an hour and fifteen minuets we finally got there and our friends were there at the front of the ruins waiting for us.

"DAN, DAN WERE OVER HERE" Sky yelled making everyone laugh well except for Cassie she isn't the type of person to recognize things that are actually funny "Hey Danny~" Cassie said fluttering her eyes while staring at me with her crazy sea foam green eyes "hello Cassie......" I said as I turned to Sparklez who had his pickaxe held over his shoulder "So we gonna do this or what?" I said grinning as Sky leaned on my shoulder with his arm " oooooo we might find Budder!" he said excitedly "you mean gold?" Cassie said rolling her eyes hatefully "no I'm pretty sure I mean Budder" he said a bit agitated by her distasteful behavior, as they started glaring daggers at each other Sparklez got in between them "heh....well then how about we get going and explore" he said trying to calm them down. We walked down into the ruins to which there was a big variety of gems and jewels of all kinds "wow this is amazing so many different gems are being formed here" Trayaurus said fascinated by the jewels around him. As we were admiring the gem covered ruins we didn't realize that Cassie had wandered off from the group. "Wait where is Cassie?" Lizzy said looking around "she must have wandered off" Tourqedawg said looking up from the gems he was looking at "we cant let her pull out any of the gems further into ruins!" Trayaurus said with concern and worry in his voice " what do you mean Tray?" I said turning to with a puzzled look on my face " these gems here do not effect the support of the ruins so the ones further into the ruins are supporters to the ruins if they are removed the whole place could collapse we need to find her" he said walking quickly deeper into the ruins. after about 7 minuets we found Cassie walking up some small stairs onto a pedestal that had a large bright orange and green gem that was sticking out of it. She was about to touch it until "CASSIE STOP" I yelled running over to her "What were you thinking wandering from the group there could have been monsters down here" I scolded angrily "Sorry that I have to make things interesting for you guys its just so boring looking at gems but finding the best one to take is much more fun" she said smirking "No Cassie we don't know why this gem is here and we cant just take something like this from ruins like these" Trayaurus said glaring at her "Fine whatever this was boring anyway" she said while starting to walk back down the pedestal while unknowingly kicking it causing the gem to fall from its resting place "NO!" I yelled as I jumped off the pedestal catching it in the nick of time, as I fell to the ground my friends gathered around me " Dan are you ok?!" Stacy asked worriedly as Grim whimpered "I'm fine guys really" I said while getting up "uhhh Dan the gem is glowing......" Jason said pointing at the gem I had caught "OH CRAP W-" I was cut off by all of us being engulfed in the gem's light. when my vision finally came back to me things were still a bit blurry. But it felt like I was....falling? WAIT WHAT?!?! I looked down seeing we were falling from the sky at high speeds. I looked around me at all my friends screaming their heads off I'm pretty sure Lizzie was crying, Stacy had grabbed Grim and held him close to her as she tried not to look down, while Sparklez and Tourqedawg were hugging each other for dear life, Trayaurus wasn't screaming but his face was filled with pure terror, I could see Sky, Jason, Ty, Quentin, Jerome, Ian, and Mitch were all over the place screaming in pure terror. I looked down to see the ground was coming close and fast, I closed my eyes and braced myself for the impact but right before It came I swear I heard somewhat of a yelp of pain.
