Miraculous: Love struck

I was running late. I ran around my bedroom and finished getting dressed. I ran downstairs and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a peice of toast and grabbed my bag.

I went downstairs to our bakery and saw my parents. mom was at the cash register with a customer. dad was giving the customer his baked goods.

mom smiled at me and I ran over to her. I kissed her cheeks and kissed dad's cheeks, too.

"Love you, mom and dad." I said as I ran out the door.

Me and Alya were supposed to met up at the high school's front steps. We haven't been hung out since she'd stared dating Nino.

It's not that I don't like Nino. Its just that she always picks him over me. She canceles on me more times then I can count.

I tried not to get angry about it, but it's hard. Sure, I think that her and Nino should hang out. But I want to hang out with her, too. She is my best friend.

----- at school
I made it before Alya got here. I was panting. "You woke up late again, didn't you?"

I looked up to see Alya's face. I couldn't even speak, I was still trying to catch my breath. I just nodded.

"Girl, you have a bad habit of showing up late to places." she teased.

I smiled. "yeah, yeah, I know."

Just then, Adrien and Nino walked up to us. Seeing Adrien always made me blush and want to faint. I tried to stay calm, but how could I? He was too perfect.

My heart was beating faster and faster the closer he came to me. I tried to call my heart down, just enough so I didn't have a heart attack.

Alya ran up to Nino and hugged him. he hugged her back and I was left alone.

Adrien waved at me and I waved back. I couldn't get out a word before he walked into the school building.

This was normal. Alya and Nino would hang out. And Adrien and me would be on our own.

"Marinette!" Alya yelled at me.

I looked up and saw Alya and Nino walking into the classroom. Alya let go of Nino's hand and ran over to me.

"Come on, we're gonna be late for class."

I smiled and walked with her to the classroom.

Everyone was already in their seats. Me and Alya were sitting next to each other. While Adrien and Nino sat in front of us. I then saw Chloe sitting in her seat. Sabrina was giving her, her homework. I then freaked out.

"You forgot again, didn't you?" Alya asked me, when she saw me looking over at Chloe and Sabrina.

I slowly nodded. Alya laughed and gave me her homework. "Hurry up, or we'll both be in trouble."

I smiled and quickly wrote down the answers for the homework. I knew it was bad to copy, but I needed it. I finished and gave Alya her homework back. Just then the teacher came in.

"You're the best." I whispered.

"I know. You owe me one." She said.

We walked out of the school. Today, Alya and me were going to hang out. Its been forever since we've hung out. She would always say that she was busy or something. Just then, Nino and Adrien came up to us.

"Hey, dudes." Nino said.

"Hi, Marinette. Hi, Alya." Adrien said.

"Hey." We both said back.
