The Meeting

10 years before the takeover

(Y/N pov) "Ugh" Sam exclaims as she fails yet again to make her hoverboard work. "Sam you have to put the balancers over here not over there! Jess says "I know I know," Sam says. "You guys are so weird," Lilly says as she is working on her own hoverboard. Now you must be wondering,"Why hoverboards?" We were lounging around and we decided to tinker around and make some hoverboards. We are tech freaks, we love everything about technology. "Hey, guys. Let's get away and go for a walk and rest our heads for a bit" I said. "alright" they said. We decided to walk in the downtown area because it was around Christmas time and the lights looked nice. CRASH. "YOU STUPID BOTS!" Lilly froze. "Did anybody else hear that?" she asked. "Yea," I said, "let's go check it out." The others nodded and we crept toward where the sound came from. I peeked down the alleyway and there were 4 men dressed in Blue, Red, Yellow and Green t-shirts. They were getting beat up by a shop owner "YOU CANT DO ANYTHING RIGHT CAN YOU?" the shop owner yelled at them. "We have to stop this" Lilly said. "Yea. Let's stop this" I agreed "We can take him." I stepped out where the Shop owner could see me. "HEY!" I yelled, "LEAVE THEM ALONE!" I saw the man in Blue look at me. He had sweet chocolate brown eyes that shimmered when he saw me. "What do you want?" the shop owner asked. "I'm taking out the trash, move along." I got angry. "They aren't trash" I growled "Leave.them.alone" I heard the other girls come and stand beside me. "You have 10 seconds to run before shit will get ugly" I growled. The shop owner laughed "What are you girls going to do to me? I'm bigger and stronger than you!" We all reached into our pockets and pulled out our homemade electric rods and activated them. The rods sparked with electricity. "This is enough electricity to knock down a water buffalo. Don't mess with us" to prove my point I launched a bolt of electricity at a dumpster leaving a scorch mark. The shop owner looked at us in fear. "Run," we all said in unison. The shop owner turned and ran as fast as he could away from us. "T-Thank y-you," a glitched out voice said. I looked at the man in blue and I realized that he had spoken to me. "Your welcome," I said. We put our electric rods away, shutting them down. The man in blue took a step forward and stumbled. I zipped forward and caught him before he could hit the ground "got ya" I said. He looked at me and smiled. The other girls had gone up and helped the other men up. "Where do you live?" I asked. "W-We lived with the shop owner but...he didn't want us around anymore". I looked at him "you guys can come stay with us". He glanced at me "you sure?" he asked. "Positive," I said. They all followed us home. The men each carried a small box.  "Whats in the boxes?" I asked wondering what it could be. "Just some of our stuff," the man in red said. "oh. okay. What are your names?". "We have not obtained names as of this time" the man in yellow stated. We arrived at the house and I opened the door and went down to the large basement. "You guys can stay in the bedrooms that are down here," I said. the men looked around the room in awe. "What is it?" Sam asked. "This place is so cool!" the man in green exclaimed. They set their boxes down on a table and wandered around in our work area, marveling at all our tech. "Where did you get all of this tech?" they asked. "We made them," Jess said with pride. They looked at all of us in awe. All this stuff is so cool!" Red said. "Yea we are technology nuts. Anything that needs to get repaired comes to us. We repair it and it works like new." Jess says. All of a sudden a beeping noise came from the men. "we should probably go charge now" Green said. "Alright. I'll show you guys to the rooms and you can get yourselves situated." I said. "Thank you," Blue said. I led the boys over to the rooms that would be theirs and said goodnight to them and went up to my room. "Wow. I think our days are going to be very eventful from here on out." I thought as I fell asleep.
