Chapter 8

Link was at his house and you were at the spring again.

You tried to freeze a plant and it was a success. You gasped and smiled.

'I got to tell Link....!' You thought.

"M'lady, it's really late. You should get some sleep." Said Akari.

"It's okay, Akari. I need lots of practice."

You heard steps coming and tried to hide behind a wall.

It was Link. You sighed.

"(Y/N). What are you doing here?"

"Link, come look at this!" You showed him the plant you froze and he looked amazed.

"That's Great! But you have to sleep." He said.

"Fine, fine. I'll go to sleep."

You and Link were heading to his house until you heard Rusl.

"(Y/N)!! Link!! Something terrible has happened!"

"What happened?" Link asked.

"Colin has been kidnapped!"

"By whom?"

"Someone, He said that if someone wanted the kid, they should see him at a hidden village."

You saw Link clenching his fists. He was angry.

"I know where that place is at, come on (Y/N). Let's go."
Link's voice changed. He sounded pretty serious.

"Yeah, okay."

You and Link hurried to grab your things.

Link on his horse and also gave you a hand getting on.

"Hyaa!"

After passing through Faron woods, you slept on Link's back.

Link stopped Epona and got you down.
He pulled out a small blanket from Epona and put it the floor to let you sleep in it while he laid down on the grass.

Next day.

Link had made breakfast for both of you. You woke up and he gave you food.

"Link, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, let's just get Colin back." He wasn't smiling at all.

You held his hand and said "Relax, we will get him back, I'm sure of it."

Link sighed. "I just really care for that kid."

Link had calmed down and smiled.

"Well, are you ready?" He said.

You nodded.

You picked up a random apple and gave it to Epona.

You and Link got on the horse.

After a few minutes, Epona reached The Great Bridge of Hylia. Around an entrance, there were monsters surrounding in it.

"This is the place." Link said.

"Saikki." You got out of the horse and shot two of them.

Link took care of the rest of them.

"That's it, come on." He said

Both of you entered the Hidden village.

"M'lady. I somehow can't seem to sense monsters."

"Well, well! I see both of you have come." Someone odd appeared on top of a house.

He looked like Link.

But different.

He had a black tunic, and red eyes.

"You." Link said.

"Give us back Colin!" You said.

"(Y/N), I need you to look for Colin, I'll deal with him."

"Yes, but why does he look exactly like you?" You asked.

"He is me. His name is Dark Link."

You looked at Dark Link and turned back to Link. "Okay, I'll see you when I get him."

Link nodded and got his sword out.

You left Link to search for Colin around the abandoned village and met with several monsters. You tried shooting them but the arrow was weak. Realizing what it was, you escaped and hid behind a wall.

You were panting.

"Akari. I trust you enough to save the three of us, if you feel scared, don't be. Your actions are mine to bear. Remember, I'm here for you."

You felt very strong after you said that.

You smiled and went back to the monsters.

You heard Someone grunting nearby.

"It must be him." You said.

You followed to where it was leading.

"Mmmffh...!"

It was Colin. He was tied up and had his mouth covered.

You untied him and helped him.

"Are you okay?" You asked.

"I'm fine. My arm hurts. Where's Link?"

"He's fighting, come on."

You were holding monsters off, your one priority was to get Colin out and help Link.

Once you reached outside you saw Link was still fighting.

"Akari, take care of him, I'm going to Li-"

Yelling reached your hearing. You knew it was Link.

"Just take care of the boy!" You said while running off.

Akari had transformed into a spirit and got in Colin's way of not seeing Link.

You went to where Link was and saw him on the ground.

"Link!"

You went to him and put his head on your arm.

"Come on, stay with me.."

You felt a presence.

Dark Link was behind you. About to attack, you barely turned but something blocked your eyesight.

Akari was protecting you.

"...Ak-"you murmured.

She was cut in half.

You gasped.

"Akari!!!!!"
