i ran upstairs and into my room, locking the door.

wow. my "best friend" wanted a break from me. gosh what a snake.

i shut my phone off, lied down in bed, and stared at the ceiling. i felt something wet touch my cheek. "i didnt even realize i was crying", i whispered to myself. i wiped away my tears, but they kept coming back. i gave up and kept my hands resting on my forehead. i stayed like that, until i drifted off into a deep sleep.

i woke up and checked the clock beside me.

1:17 a.m.

i opened my phone and checked my notifications. i had 2 miss calls from taehyung...

"why did he call me?..." i thought to myself. maybe he just wanted to call? i dont know. i clicked on his contact and touched the call button.

it rang for a about 30 seconds, before taehyung picked up the phone.

"hello? taehyung?"

"aera? hi..."

"whyd you call me earlier, tae?"

".. i can't sleep. no ones in the house right now, except for me."

"and?"

"wanna come over?"

"boi. my parents are gonna kill me if i do that. and i have to go back to sleep, so i gotta go."

"at least stay on the phone so i'm technically talking to you... but you'll be asleep?.... please?.."

i stayed silent for a moment before answering him. im pretty sure it'd be fine, as long as i dont snore....

"fine. but if i snore don't make fun of me."

i put my phone back on my night stand, and get in a comfortable position.

"good night taehyung.."

"good night aera..."

i closed my eyes, and fell into a deep sleep, not being able to hear anything else coming from my phone.
