it has been a while since the fight between jungkook and taehyung. they both seem to be avoiding each other. like, at lunch, when i sit at a table, taehyung and jungkook both come rushing towards me, but when one gets to me first, the other leaves.
i don't want them to act like that, because they were great friends before their confessions.
oh and how did i act after their confessions? the same, actually. i just never brought it up, and i just acted the same. i told jokes, and made conversations, and i never talked about the incident.
anyways, i am waiting for jungkook and taehyung to come to the coffee shop near our school.
i told both of them that they should meet me here. but jungkook doesn't know that taehyung would be here, and taehyung doesn't know that jungkook would be here. i brought them both here, to talk about the situation, and to make them stop avoiding each other.
the bell on the door dings, indicating that someone came in. i look up and see taehyung. he has his boxy smile on his face, and when he spots me, he starts to walk my way.
he sits down, and we start a conversation.
"hi aera. is anyone else coming here with us?", he asks. i pursed my lips before answering.
"no.. not really...", i lied.
as soon as i say that, the ding of the bell on the door goes off. i look away from taehyung and i see jungkook entering.
he looks my way, and smiles. but as soon as he sees taehyung, his smile falters.
he rushes up to me before speaking.
"what the hedge is he doing here", both taehyung and jungkook say at the same time.
"jungkook sit down", i tell him. he nods his head and sits down, but his eyes stay on taehyung with an intense stare.
"so... i want you too.. to make up.. please?", i say. taehyung and jungkook's eyes widen.
"what ? !", jungkook yells.
he stood up to leave, but i grabbed onto his arm before he could.
"please.. i want to hang out with the two of you.. at the same time..", i say.
jungkook pauses before sighing and sitting back down.
i sat there and watched as the two of them slowly talked. they asked me to leave, so i did.
from afar i saw how their expressions changed. they went from uncomfortable, to upset, and now, to happy. they continued talk, until taehyung took a look at me. he motioned his hand to tell me to come to them.
i walked towards them, slowly. jungkook didn't seem to notice that i was approaching them, so i snuck behind him.
"we'll see who she chooses, okay hyung?", he says.
"BOO", i yell. everyone in the cafe turns to look at me, and i hide my face in embarrassment.
jungkook tells me to sit with them again, and we all start to converse
we kept talking until it was 6, and it was time to go home.
taehyung and jungkook left, and i was the only one who had to go home now.
it was getting dark, and i was getting scared. i never walked home when the sun was setting, and by myself.
i continued to walk home, but i sped up my pace. i heard foot steps coming closer, and becoming louder. i gripped my phone tightly and walked faster than before. my heart was racing, and i was starting to sweat lightly.
the foot steps behind me sounded louder, heavier, and closer.
i started to run, but was stopped by a pair of hands covering my face. i screamed with fear, but stop when i hear a familiar voice.
"shhh.. aera don't yell.. but guess who?", says the familiar voice.
it sounded really familiar... jungkook?..
"jungkook?", i voiced.
he chuckled lightly before removing his hands. i slap the back of his head lightly.
"yah! don't do that! i literally thought i was going to die!", i yell.
be looks at me with a crooked smile on his lips.
"sorry?", he says.
i shake my head before telling him to contiue to walk home with me.
he stays by my side the whole time, and eventually we reach my house. i tell him to wait outside, whilst i run inside and ask my parents to drive jungkook home. my dad nods his head and agrees before heading out the front door.
