My friend doesn't believe in past lives, nor does he believe in love. I feel as though he's in denial. He met a boy a few months ago, and they've kept in touch very often. The boy had confessed to him about 5 days ago, and my friend has seemed to shut down ever since. I know what he's like. He's afraid of falling in love, afraid of the fact that it won't be like how it's displayed in the movies.
I believe that in some ways, love is like how it's shown in movies, where else would they get the idea?
