Yoongi sat on his couch, wrapped up in blankets and cushions. This is usually how he would spend his Sunday nights. He heard the familiar sound of a key jingling in the door before the handle twisted open, revealing the face of his lifelong friend. Kim Taehyung.
The deep voice of his younger friend pulsed throughout the room. "I hope you didn't start the movie already. I didn't run to the store and buy snacks just for you to do me dirty." He set the plastic bag on the wooden table, its sweet contents spilling onto it.
"Of course I didn't, who do you take me for?" Yoongi said, removing his arm from his blanket burrito in a desperate search for his favourite snack.
Taehyung chuckled before disappearing into his bedroom to retrieve his own blanket. He sat on the couch, wrapping himself in his blankets and pulling the bag of sweets in between them. He sighed deeply and Yoongi looked over to him, knowing he was about to say something. "I ran into Jungkook again, on my way back home."
Yoongi sat up, facing Taehyung directly. "Did he say anything?"
"He told me that he missed talking to me and that it'd been too long for him since we spoke," Taehyung said, picking at a hangnail on his index finger. "I think I hurt him. He didn't seem happy."
Before Yoongi spoke, Taehyung had changed the subject. Yoongi let him get away with it this time. "So how's your past life lover going? Have you met them yet?"
"I haven't reunited with them yet, but I'll know when I do," Yoongi replied, taking another candy in his hand before grabbing the remote to the TV.
Taehyung sighed, shaking his head in slight disbelief. "You still believe in that stuff?"
Yoongi smiled, "I never stopped."
