Chapter 4 Yuri on a Friday + Movie Review

So todays Movie Review is going to be  1996s The Hunchback Of Notre Dame

So a lil background as always
The Story The Movie is based off of is a Book from 1833 of the Same Name by Victor Hugo
It's the Story apparently created to highlight the Power of the Church and the Dyeing Gothic Architecture Era any way let's jump in also Spoilers

So in the Beginning of the Movie much like Aladdin the Tale is Started by a Gypsy Telling the Story of the Bell ringer of Notre Dame.
We learn that The Bellringers Name was Quasimodo and that this is taking place in 1482 in Paris.

The story goes like this about 20 years prior  Judge Frollo the Villain is hunting Down a Group of Gypsies people he Despises because he believes there full of Sin.

One of the Gypsies Has a A baby and Runs  away but Frollo chases Chases her on horse back as she heads for the Church for Sanctuary.
Sanctuary meaning that only the rule of God not man will enter the church so it's kinda like Confession.

She fails to do so and he kills her when the Arch Priest Steps Out.

Frollo looks at the Baby in his eyes because it's deformed it's a Demon from Hell so to send it back from which it's Came he plans to drown Quasimodo in the Well.

So far the Build Up for the Story is Great in my Opinion Frollo I liked as a villain because he's a fucking dick head who tries to Justify his actions also the Animation is classic Disney.

The Arch Priest Pulls the God Card saying he'll go to hell for sining on the steps of God and to redeem himself  he must raise the Deformed Quasimodo.

Frollo does But keeps him locked away for his life in the Bell tower where in later life Quasimodos Imagination gets the Best of him and the Gargoyles are his only friends which are amazing supporting characters and idea in the story until I think it's ruined which will be explained later.

So Adult Quasimodo is talking with the gargoyles when Frollo wonders who he's talking to he states his Friends then Frollo Patronizes him saying the Gargoyles are Stone and cannot talk.
Qui Quasimodo really wants to go to the festival of fools which is like a Gypsies festival and Circus made for Fun,

Frollo hates this but must go because he is Judge which is a change from the Original Story.

In the Book Frollo was a Priest a high one in fact.

Quasimodo really wants to go so the Gargoyles Convince him.

Meanwhile Paris new Guard Captain Named Phebos gives money to the Gypsite Dancer he finds attractive  Her name Esmeralda who is the Love interest of Phebos Quasimodo and Frollo.

Phebos meets Frollo  who explains Phebos new job to Eradicate all Gypsies and find there hide out.

So minus the beginning your Probably Thinking Yep this is your average Disney Movie well Wrong it gets pretty fucking Dark which is why I enjoy it.

Quasimodo meets Esmeralda by accidentally walking in on her Changing frightened like fuck he's surprised when she forgives him.

Then when the General Public find him he's the King of fools because of his looks Quasimodo thinks he's been accepted well not the town become total Dickweeds and Strap him down and Throw Fruit at him tear his Clothes lucky him Esmeralda saves him.

Frollo sees her and is Pissed not only because she's a gypsite but also she did a Dance for him and he got a boner he can't get rid of for religious reasons I'm not even jokeing must like the Priests he can't fuck or Jerk off he must Abstain.

Esmeralda hides in the Church But Is Caught by Phebos who also got a heart Boner and Trues to help her by lying and Saying she claim sanctuary the Arch Priest Kicks Frollo Out while Frollo orders that all Guards surround the Building.
