I lay my head on his shoulder as we watched the sun set. It felt so good to the point where I almost fell asleep. I was exhausted even though it's 5:00 PM.

I took out my vape pen, "what are you doing?"

"Vaping, it helps me relieve stress."

"Roni, my father died from stage 2 cancer because of vaping and smoking. Please Roni...I don't want to loose another person that I care about."

"I'm sorry for your loss Ethan but I'm fine! If it was that bad why couldn't I stop earlier." I felt bad though.

"That's because there's deadly chemicals in there. Especially nicotine and tobacco, there's something in those things that make you addicted. Please give me the pen. Everything will be alright, I'll always be by your side."

I handed him the pen and sighed. I guess I had to give it up.

"This is where I go when I feel stressed." He patted my head, which soothes me. This place is beautiful and surprisingly, calmed me down. "Get on my shoulders."

"Are you a maniac?" I laughed. We were literally on a cliff, one wrong movement you're dead. "Do you trust me?" I gulped at that question, "Y-yes I do."
"Then get on my shoulders." I was hesitant but I nodded.

He lifted me up and then I saw the prettiest thing in the world. The sunset was way more prettier up here than it was down there. "It's so pretty Ethan."

"Not as pretty as you." I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "I love you-" I quickly shut my mouth,
"You love me...?" He started lowering me down. "Yes. Now do you love me back?" I'm such an idiot, rushing this.

"Of course I do. I've loved you since the day I've laid eyes on you. I've been meaning to ask you this and I've been debating on it for a while, but I figured now might be the best time, will you be my girlfriend?" His dark deep eyes looked glossy, like he was miserable, sad, or worried.

"Yes I will." I gave him a peck on the lips and hugged him tight. "please never leave me..." I drowned into his warm body.

"Why would I?"

"I'm a wreck, I can't believe you like a girl like me." By now I could feel my heart shattering into pieces.

"Don't ever say that, you're the prettiest and strongest girl I've ever seen, I am not lying. I don't like you, I love you. Tell yourself you are perfect because that's the truth."

He made my heart throb.

I kissed him at least 100 times. I didn't know how else to show how much I love him, I tried to say something but I'd choke on my words. "Let's go home now."

"Aw shit!" I slapped my knee and grabbed 4 cards.

"UNO!" Ethan screamed. Cameron slapped him in the arm as she rubbed her ears. "My ears are fucking ringing."

"Ethan shut up! Mom is still sleeping douchebag." Grayson groaned.

"I guess Ethan wins, like always." Cam said as she walked out, "I have to finish my homework see ya later alligators."

"I have to tell you guys something."

"What is it gray?" Ethan rolled his eyes, "it's probably stupid."

"Ahem Ethan! It's not. I've been talking to this girl recently and I really like her." I could see Grayson's cheeks flushing with redness. "Well, shoot your shot buddy." I smiled and patted his back.
