As I walk down the dirt path road
I hear a cry for help
I hurry my paste to see who was crying
As I scurry through the town
I come upon a hidden path that leads into the woods
The cry from before grows louder in sound
I run up a steel hill and at the top
A great willow tree greets me
And under this great willow
Lies a boy
His ebony hair framing his face
I walk up, closer to this saddened boy
And kneel down infront of him
I catch his attention as he leans back onto the tree
"W-who are you!?" he cries
His ocean blue eyes look deep within mine
And all of my fear of this mysterious boy
Was gone
After some time he relaxes his body
And slides his finger across the bottom of my chin
And I dare say a smile appeared
A smil that had painted itself across my own face
He spoke once again, but in a calm, gently manner
" Might I ask... who you are my angel?"
A faint blush appears upon my face.
"Jozzie....and you are?"
My smile widens,
" Sapphire..."
After some time sapphire and I had become good friends
And he spoke of far away villages
But never mentioned wherr he was from
One day when I went to visit him
Under our willow tree
He was not there
Instead, there was a note
And it read,
" my dearly beloved angel,
For I cannot allow you to venture any further
Into my ocean
It is beast that you only remember my name and image...
But I shall return to you in time
For I am
Just beyond the ocean."
Tears fall down my cheek as it finished.
I turn my head to see
Just below the horizon,
Was the pure blue ocean
The same color of Sapphires beloved eyes
I held the note close to my chest
and from that day on wondered
What lurks beyond the ocean?
