I slipped away in a sleeping haze. Sirens were no longer heard. A faded white light appeared, almost misty looking. The silence was whole. I felt at peace for once. A peace that was never heard of. A peace that was made without the devil.
I struggled to find where I was at. Am I alive? For now that is unknown. The fogginess was like a hallucinogen; I could imagine things that weren't there, but couldn't see them.
My white world soon became black, black as night that is. The black faded into a dream. Wait, I'm in my room? I screamed for help, but I was the only one able to hear.
I was able to hear voices, but was unable to be heard. I heard roars of cries coming from... my mom? I'm sorry mom, the devil made me do it. 'Medically induced coma' are the three other words I overheard. I don't know who they're from though. This is all so confusing.
